Between this and PSN+ it's clear to see that Sony wants a piece of the pay to play pie. PS4 is going to have a more structured and paid online service. Mark my words.
Edit 1* @sarshelyam Are you retarded? Companies shouldn't make money on used products. It's just greed for an already overpriced game. If I sell my car should Chevy get money for that too? If I resell my Television should Toshiba get money for that too?
Get real! This is a tactic that...
I love Gamestop, where else can you go in with like $60 and get like 5 or 6 used XBox 360 games? I would never trade in anything there, but I do enjoy buying games from them. I buy used games all the time. I rarely support a game new unless it's something worth supporting ie. Alan Wake, COD, Gears, Halo ect....
It was lack of software and I also believe people in general avoid anything and everything 3-D. I don't think simply because it can be bad for you, but throughout the last fifty years it's been a fad and never really catches on for long.
Look no further then recent movies that were released in 3-D, people are going out of their way to avoid those showings and opting for cheaper movies without that feature.
Well Sega certainly has the IPs to push a console now. Sonic, Bayonetta, Vanquish to name a few solid ones. I would love to see a new Sega console. I like many Sega fans gravitated towards the Xbox brand after the Dreamcast died.
He's right though, which probably only pisses off people more. People complained about the original Wii and we all know how that turned out. They only sold 90 million consoles and slapped the competition.
For me games are a crap-shoot. Unless it's an established franchise you don't really know what your going to get, and even then you might be disappointed. I buy used and cheap games often, there are always some games out there that I'll buy when the price has been reduced simply because I'm not sure if it'll be a waste of money.
Spending $15 on a game and then having the game suck still means I wasted $15 but at least it wasn't $60.
Whoooaoaaaaooaoaaaoaooaoaoaooa oaoaoaooa!!!!!!!!!!!
I liked the newest RE game more then any previous. I've never been scared of a game in my life, so why do people act like they should be scary? I think they went for a more realistic approach then anything else. I also think the co op was fantastic.
Well it makes sense. You can track back to the golden age of gaming in the late 70's and early 80's and if you figure these people were 4 to 7 years old at that time, there ya go.
No surprise to me. The majority of people online are older, it's just everyone remembers the loud ass younger ones. Thank goodness for cross party chat eh fellas?
So 30 FPS, you can only talk to 3 other people on your team..... How can people say Battlefield is more "team oriented" when you cant even frigging talk to them?
I think that new clip on feature that reduces the distance you need to use with Kinect might help them out a bit. Plus when heavily Japanese influenced games come out like Project Draco, Rise Of Nightmares and some of those others announced late last year.
Bubbles for you. I appreciate the comments. Very well said.
There are no games for it. Yes I know you can play Killzone and Socom with it, but where are the titles specifically designed for the device? Like Sorcery or something worthwhile?
I won one and it works well, but I haven't used it but a few times because there just aren't any interesting games for it.
That's a slappin!
Fable is one of the more unique RPG's. It would actually draw my interest more towards Skyrim if it had some of those elements.
A lot of RPG's need to play catch up to the Fable franchise IMHO.
Most of the stuff they listed is that weird Japanamation stuff.
Not really into weird looking crap like that. Anime is weird and those games are more geared towards the Japanese IMHO.
Well EA and Dice need to find some fake ways to beat COD. Not like they can actually compete with things like sales, metacritic, online players, frames per second, competitive teams and longevity.
Doesn't need to do anything. They already improved what I wanted.
1.Run 60 FPS
2.Get rid of last stand and OMA
3.Bring back the original MP5 from COD4
4.Improve the killstreaks
5.Longer campaign
As a competitive gamer, 30 FPS is not going to get it done for me. I think Dice has dropped the bass the previous few Battlefield games and even the horrid Medal Of Honor game. Which was built up but sucked worse then Bad Company 2
I would love an option for Kinect on a game like Skyrim.
Ya, I mean COD4 looks just like MW3 huh? Dumb ass. I love how people find reasons to complain.
I'd rather play an updated COD engine with the online community of COD and 60 FPS with full team voice chat over 30 FPS and 4 person "Squad chat" any day of the week!
Cant wait to test out some Elite!
