Don't PS3 owners usually ignore most games?
Don't much matter, 25 million copies of MW3 are getting sold.
*Edit 1*
@ Pandamobile I'm sure if it were Battlefield selling like hotcakes everyone would be bringing it up. It seems to me that people use the lack of something selling as a reason as to why it's good. That kind of blows my mind. If it's good, it'll sell.
While sales aren't the only way to judge a game, when it comes to a franchise like COD, it wouldn...
Pretty long time by EA, I mean usually they take full servers offline after only a year. So letting people use this for two years is something totally new for EA.
Well hopefully Sony learned from previous mistakes. You don't win over developers with hard to develop on hardware.
This seems like that weird Japanamation style of game. Not really interested. Seems kind of odd to me.
Moooooooooooooooooooo
I love the COD stories, especially the Modern Warfare ones. I've played some generic ass FPS campaigns and Modern Warfare isn't one of them.
Killzone 2 & 3 both have some of the most generic characters and story ever! Same with the Bad Company games, you just don't like or give a crap about the characters your playing as. While everyone likes Ghost, Soap ect... Cant wait for the epic third installment!
I remember when we heard Splinter Cell Conviction was coming out on the Xbox 360 and PS3 fanboys all shouted that it would eventually come to the PS3, probably within six months to a year.....lol
Anyway, it just takes a little bank to keep those games exclusive and nobody has more bank then Microsoft.
I loved Conviction, I actually was never a fan of the other Splinter Cell games, but I was glad to see Conviction score so well with critics and sell really goo...
I actually liked Too Human, yea the death scene took too long, but overall I enjoyed it. Also, I really liked Crackdown 2. I think the multiplayer especially was far ahead of the original.
How many games now day's release games that could be considered a 1.5 version? yet it seems that people like to pick on this one in particular.
Looking forward to unlocking some Metal Gear achievements on my 360! Just wish it was at a cheaper price point.
Kind of like how Halo has Social Slayer. I like the idea. It will do a lot to bring more people to the Gears multiplayer and then when people get some confidence and understand how to play the game, they can gravitate towards the standard modes.
Gotta give it to Epic and Microsoft, they are going all out with Gears 3. Advertising, features and the game itself are all definitely top notch.
Is their backlash for Sony? I mean they have PSN+. There is nothing stopping people from playing single player games without a pass or paying for online.
Also, you will notice the biggest game franchises aren't doing this, it's the smaller ones. I for one don't feel any sympathy for game companies, if I buy a game and choose to sell it to Gamestop or Ebay or at a Garage sale then people should be able to play the games offline and online.
I'd much rather play this game on a home theater screen with Kinect or my big screen then play it holding a motion controller and wearing retarded looking glasses, but that's just me.
To those complaining about the Kinect version, try actually playing it. It has received nothing but phenomenal reviews, Kinect works perfectly with Child Of Eden and you really get the feel that the game was designed with it specifically in mind.
I wasn't planning o...
Want to get the trolls going? Look at all the little fanboys trying to defend their consoles honor. Like they actually work for the company or something.
Yes! I was wanting more information about a less then mediocre game.
This should help out when they spawn trap you with a tank mortar up the ass.
Still not worth it.
In this economy it's better to play it safe as a company. You know your mainstays like Halo, Gears, Forza, Fable are all going to sell millions and millions of copies.
You also know that games like Call Of Duty are going to get you tons of money without any risk whatsoever.
June saw the Xbox 360 sell 500,000 units, clearly the only people worried about new ips or "exclusives" are fanboys of other consoles.
We saw what happened...
Almost 3 million people signed up for the beta. I'd say that makes it highly anticipated. I cant wait to try it out.
If they mark the cost as less then 3 map packs per year I'll definitely sign up, since you get the map packs included in the Elite program. Plus the stat tracking and everything else is far beyond anything else out there right now.
Call Of Duty Elite is for the hardcore users only and it's optional, so stop your whining. If you did...
Well console owners will laugh at PC owners for everything else. The things that really matter.
I know a few PC gamer's, but they don't have anything spectacular under the hood. I'm not sure what the percentage is of PC gamer's that actually have really nice setups, but I always looked at PC gamer's as being kind of cheap. They like cheap games and free games they pirate ect...
