Considering Nintendo is still heads and shoulders above the other companies and actually making money from their hardware and software and are in no danger of losing ground to Sony or Microsoft, I'll say NO.

Nintendo is smart and while people say things like "Sales are slipping" they don't realize how amazing the sales still are for the Wii. It's the ultimate machine for seasoned gamers and people who are unfamiliar with games and gaming in general.

I cant even understand what the heck this guy is saying 99% of the time.

Lionhead is owned by Microsoft though, so I'm guessing from the title of the article that it's pure B.S.

This is actually pretty cool. I am getting more and more excited about this game lately. This is very unexpected and I believe a nice move by MS to do this.

When you buy something, you are allowed to do what you want with it, which is why this guy will win any court case.

Check the history of it, or anything similar. I know people here are mostly PS3 fanboys are need to fill out the butthurt report because of this guy, but I know lots of people who are using it to play "Free Roms" via there PS3. Running a OS that we were given the right to run in the first place is also not a big deal, I really got ticked when they too...

1999 was a huge year for gaming, it was the first time I actually thought a new generation of gaming and games was worthy of the buzz, Dreamcast blew everything away when I first saw it.

So many amazing years really though. Hard to pick and choose.

This is awesome! The truth of the matter is, if you buy something, you own the right to do whatever you want with said item.

These are pretty sweet! I've had BulletStorm pre ordered for a while now, just slapped on one of those sweet Backgrounds too. Of course getting Gears 3 Beta access is just an awesome bonus!

I'd buy it for sure, I would HOPE that it wouldn't be a full $60 purchase, but I'd be willing to do that if they offered 4 player online co-op and a good multiplayer experience.

Hopefully this would pave the way for Halo 2 to be remade, since that was my favorite in the series.

Hard to say, I already have Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 3 and Skyrim pre ordered. So it might depend on some reviews or a demo or something along those lines.

Hard to argue though really, so many quality games coming our way this year. Almost too many IMHO. So many are going to get looked over.

I still have my Dreamcast and Sega Saturn, the Saturn is widely considered a amazing core system. Also the Dreamcast was so far ahead of it's time it's not even funny. I would drop my Sony and Microosft made products in a second if Sega ever got back into the console market.

Imagine a Sega console as the only option to play any of the 2K Sports series or killer Apps like Bayonetta, they could truly contend.

I know I have always looked at the 360 as the only console for games like COD, GTA, RDR ect.... So it's no surprise to me. It's not a "Lack of games" I mean XBL has millions of people on it at a time and there are a ton of online games to choose from, I split my time from Reach, Black Ops, Gears 2, Assassins Creed Brotherhood and Forza 3.

All of those have very active communities. 3rd party, 1st party who cares in the end? Some of the biggest titles this yea...

I think it shows how out of ideas and how much these companies care about money.
There is rarely a HD remake or update I care about. To me, we should already be able to play last generation games via backwards compatibility. I bought the games once, that should be enough.

There are a few exceptions of course.

Thrashball would be cool, same with some sort of Shooter. Either way ya can never have too many Gears games.

Not sure why people who don't own Kinect or people who aren't a fan would care either way, we get Gears 3 for the "Core" gamers, the ones who apparently need sweatbands and Gatorade to feel manly and "Hardcore". The rest of us can find a level of enjoyment on pretty much any game. After all, these are just video games for entertainment.

Not sure Time Magazines Game Of The Year and a game that has sold around 1 million is a flop. I loved it! I bought it new to support the developer and haven't looked back.

My only hope is that they make a sequel. So many amazing games had mediocre sales for the first game in the series, would love to see a sequel draw in more people.

I ordered it. I already have a Gameinformer subscription, I've always like XBox Magazine but never grabbed a sript till now. Good deal.

I seriously doubt we see a subscription on the COD games we all know and most of us love.
I could see some sort of COD MMORPG that has a subscription in the future though.

I just don't see them willing to cut their current fanbase in half or worse by making current COD games subscription based, what's more is, I'm not even sure how the heck that would work.

It's no real surprise, the average person doesn't realize most the people at 343 are former Bungie people. Including the lead sound person who is responsible for all the amazing Halo music.
Halo and 343 will be just fine, cant wait to see more from them.
