This thing is going to be $400 or more. Why has Sony gone away from the tactics they used with the PS1 and PS2? Graphics and technology aren't everything. Fun games and afford-ability are what people want now days.
I know porting or making mini versions of PS3 titles is a step in the right direction, but they could have done this with the original PSP in some fashion. I just have a feeling this thing isn't going to compete. Too much tech involved that isn't needed...
$599 US Dollars! I mean we can always just go get second jobs right?
Seriously though probably not more then $199.
Took MAG back within the first couple of weeks. Too many "Rambo" style players not playing objectively and not enough communication.
Star Wars Battlefront 3 and KOTOR 3 are the only Star Wars games I'm interested in. MAYBE another Republic Commando, because that game was sick. It rivaled Halo IMHO.
Haze killed any chances of their being a Star Wars Battlefront 3 it was so bad. The company had to close down, the company was working on SWBF3 at the time.
Lair is terrible, M.A.G. was ambitious but consider the small amount of people who actually have a mic on the PS3, a massive game that requires talking and communication probably wasn't the best idea ever. Also, they wanted $60 for a game with no campaign mode. Yet people complain about the 6-8 hour COD campaigns. <...
Meh, I'll just keep my new Windows 7 phone. This thing looks horrid. Hopefully it goes the way of the PSP Go.
Just because N4G is filled with Sony fanboys doesn't make me stupid for wanting to go with the handheld leader of the last 20+ years.
I much prefer the Nintendo 1st party games on a handheld then any Sony made 1st party game.
Nintendo will always win the handheld market and support their products. I truly believe Sony is trying to tell people what they want instead of listening to what they want. If some of the specs are accurate on the PSP2, then your l...
Nintendo 3DS all the way. Nintendo owns the handheld market. Their first and third party support on handhelds is unmatched. I had a PSP once but I sold it because there were absolutely no good games for it.
I'm sure Sony means well, but they should leave hand held gaming devices to the pro's, same with Motion controls.
Sega could easily return, they have a loyal fanbase. However they would need to start the next generation of console cycles. Also they'd need to have their 2K NFL game back. Imagine if every Sega made game was exclusive to the Sega console? I mean that'd be the sickest Exclusive lineup ever. Not to mention Sega Sports already has the best Sports game out right now.
Who wouldn't want new Toe Jam and Earl, Panzer Dragoon, Jet Grind Radio, Bayonetta, Space Channel ec...
A M A Z I N G ! Note to all developers, you need something unique to bring to the genre. This is it! So much fun.
I don't think I'd risk trying to go online with something I stole on the XBox 360. I just got a new 360s after all.
Alan Wake was an amazing game, I can see why it's garnered such high praises. It's also one of the most pirated games on the XBox 360. So people definitely wanted to play it.
I think it's probably pretty close to the one million mark. Let's not forget, sequels can really turn a great game into a magnificent game. Look no farther then Halo 2 compared to the first one or Uncharted 2 compared to the first one, while both first games were solid, they weren't a...
Why would I need to steal a free demo? Your just not making any sense.
The demo is fantastic. Two great demo's on XBL today. Bullestorm is by far the most imaginative and fun FPS I've ever played! I originally pre ordered the Epic edition simply for the Gears 3 beta, but now I'm super excited for the actual game itself. Great job Epic!
Actually it plays very good. I'd say it's a mix between Halo, Killzone 2 and COD. The guns and a bit of the weight to them remind me of Killzone 2.
The suits and abilities remind me of Halo and the guns themselves and the sites remind me of COD.
One of the best looking online shooters I've ever played though. You can tell they took there time and spared no expense. Superb.
Nope, been there done that. Honestly I know Sony was trying to make some more money and there was a time they lacked titles so I can see why they'd be wanting to remake these games, but I look forward to the future and the new games.
I loved those games back in the day, but I've moved on.
Well it's only one map to play, I played through it twice and found tons of combo's and kill shots to do. I loved it. So much fun.
People now days take games so seriously and worry about their Kill/Death ratio's and whatnot, glad to see a game go back to kill with skill for points and doing fun combo's.
I pre ordered mostly for the Gears 3 beta, but after playing the demo I'm super Hyped for the game itself. CANT WAIT!
It looks fantastic. Especially in 1080p. I will say it's one of the best looking online games I've ever played. A lot of games lost crispness when played online, this isn't one of them. EVERYONE should download this game today.
This game is one of the most inventive and fun FPS games I've ever played! AMAZING!
3DS will win big time with sales. Nintendo does all the right things with their handhelds. This new Sony handheld is going to probably cost $400 or more. I feel like while the 3DS is a tad pricey, the NGP is going to be about $150 or more.
That will eliminate any chance it has for parents buying it for kids.
At least Sony learned from their failed PSPGO. I already had my 3DS pre ordered and this Sony device looks pretty good, but far too expensive for the average gam...
