Whoever cancelled Road Rash needs to be fired. Road Rash 3D was something special. I still think about this game from time to time and would LOVE to see a next gen version.
I just want a proper boxing game. No kiddie silliness, no gimmicks. Just plain ol' boxing.
I also would like a better version of EA Sports Active. Those two things alone would have me as a customer.
It was pretty cool, but yeah it was way too slow. Sonic=speed. Whenever that changes something is wrong.
Folks, I think it is safe to say that if you see a website or magazine give this game a high score that something is wrong.
Personally I don't even need to play the game, I saw a video that told me everything I needed to know.
It's kinda sad cause I had hopes for this game.
Has MS actually shown the new kinect being used other than voice commands? I don't remember.
Honestly what surprises me the most is the fact people go crazy with pre-ordering things they haven't even seen in 100% working order. I know a few people that have apparently already paid their systems(both companies) off.
Just doesn't make sense to me. I guess if there is a shortage or something they could flip them on Ebay.

I personally just think that MS realized they've pissed off a LOT of people in general and are simply trying to clean their image up a bit.

It was on sale for $19 the other day, I so wished I had gotten it. Was in the beta and while you hear talk of it being average I had a BLAST with it.
Saints Row 3 was my disappointment of this generation also. The last time I was ever that pissed over a game it was when I bought Enter The Matrix.
SR3 was a shell of a game compared to SR2.
No...no it isn't. Considering the fact the previous games in the series had a somewhat legit story that flowed well you'd expect the same from future games in the series.

Besides, this particular article isn't really about the story, it seems to be about a giant person in a cat suit that doesn't have a damn thing to do with anything whatsoever.
There's no denying that, and we are all free to express them. Now if it is a good idea to share those opinions...that's a different story.

Nothing is or ever has been wrong with the ps3 controller other than it lacked rumble for a short while.
The ONLY controller I could honestly ever complain about would be the original NES controller cause those sharp corners hurt after a while and I think it was the only controller to give me blisters.
You would make the cars accelerate by making, "Vroom, vroom!!" noises.
"Screeeech!!!" for brakes.

Hmmm...you know, I'll just wait and see. I like my PS3, but my first(40gig) has failed 3-4 times. I think a lot of it is due to luck and location.
I where I live it gets pretty hot in the summer, so I'm sure that didn't help things. It was on a shelf to itself, kept dust free, etc.
In the end....it didn't even matter.

Laugh it up people. This is serious business. Making a mistake like that could cost them in the long run.
They have their PR team working on clearing this up as quickly and smoothly as possible, so I'm sure we can expect a press conference on this in a day or so.
The last thing MS wants is for this to damage their rep. This is the kind of stuff that causes stock prices to drop dramatically.

I have to agree. While I loved most of their games, their take on NFS just wasn't right IMO. Hot pursuit was ok, but I never really felt that sense of urgency I had from the other pursuit games...plus there were no damn jumps.
Most Wanted was completely wrong. From the bit I played nothing made me think of the previous game. It felt just like burnout complete with the repair/paint shops.
