As a console gamer and occasional PC gamer I have to say this is stupid. I personally think all games should be on whatever platform if there is a way to do it so all can experience them.
I can't even enter cause I don't give a damn about Gamestop, but it would be cool to win.
Can't trust a thing this guy says going by everything he's said since the reveal, wouldn't believe him if he said rain was wet.
Imagine if PR actually only told the truth though?
"Yes we are rushing the system out as fast as possible, we are even skipping reliability tests to make sure its in stores to compete. Whatever hardware failures happen we will ignore until a lawsuit appears."
"Our DRM plans didn't work...
Affording something and it being worth the money are two different things. Would you buy a car that is poorly designed and costs more over a car that runs better and is cheaper?
Eh, some of you probably would.
Just because something costs more doesn't mean it is better.
The world is a funny place, where I live I've had(a lot of) people who seem to think something was wrong with me just because I don't really fit with stereotypes, as if they are something that has to hold true to every race, as if a person can't be a true individual.
Makes me think, "WTF?". Doesn't have much to do with the article, but it reminded me of some experiences in my own life.
I think gamers need to be sensitive...or more considerate rather when playing online.
To get to the point there is no reason for any of the discriminating, hateful nonsense that spews from gamer's mouths online, it's sick and sad...and the worst part is that most are ok with this.
"Oh get a thick skin!" and all that other bs. People play games to have fun, and online play is a way to do what you enjoy(gaming) with others who share your inter...
Hot Pursuit was close but still quite wrong. Where were the jumps?
I was excited for the game only to be disappointed in the end. It had the name, but something(other than jumps) was still missing.
As far as I'm concerned the series went to rubbish with Carbon, had a brief(weak)blip with HP, and flat-lined with Burnout...I mean Most Wanted.
How would having modding/customization capabilities in the game hurt it?
Most Wanted(the recent one) was a piss poor comparison of the original. It was basically Burnout with a different skin.
LAZY.
To be honest with you this WHOLE damn thing has been sad.
Sad from the day MS did their console reveal.
The only plus so far as been the fact gamers stood against the crap they were pulling.
Things should have calmed down after MS did their flipping, at least to the point where games are the main discussion, but instead we have this kinda BS.
What does THIS have to do with gaming? Not a damn thing.
Sick of sites and people comparing the two. IMO I enjoyed both, note that I use past tense because SR has pissed all over itself as far as I'm concerned.
They've ruined the series with these last two games.
Exactly. I generally don't fool with magic....ever.
Unless I have a mage character(rare).
I wonder how well guilds are done, like the brotherhood..
This SOUNDS like a rip off.
Several people have already pointed out your error. I ahve to say the last beat em up game I played was God Hand.
I can't think of any new ones. I don't mean remastered, I mean flat out new.
I'd love to see a NEW Dungeon's and Dragons beat em up, a Turtl...oh wait, they are coming out with one aren't they?
It looks rubbish though.
Agreed. I didn't know this became a fact at some point.
Silly articles.
From my point of view, NEITHER console has shown me something I must have.
I wouldn't say best. I'd say somewhat realistic, which is a problem if you would ever have other DC characters featuring in a movie with his version of Batman.
Can you see Superman flying about or Flash zipping around in Nolan's version of Batman? Not really.
I understand that they want it to be a 100% silly game now, I get that...I don't like it but I get it. It's like watching your favorite hard rock/metal band turn into silly pre-teen pop group in the middle of a concert.
But SR3(and by the looks of it this one too) just weren't done well as a game. There's less of everything. Sequels should have more content or at least equal amounts.
Leaving the poor humor and bad story direction out of it, t...
I think this is why I have a hard time not talking about the game. It went from something I truly enjoyed to this.
I wanted to see what the original story would play out to but I guess that is all forgotten about now.
IMO they(Volition) have lost themselves and are just trying to grab as much crap as they can to try and make a full game. A little bit from this game, a little bit from that one, add some movie references, re-use the same boring city and throw ...
Most of the reviews seem to forget that the game is supposed to have a story, they just go on about how crazy it is.
I doubt those reviewers take the fact that the game is supposed to be part of a series.
What happened to the overall story? Why does most of it look the same as the previous game? You know not to trust a company/reviewer that gives something like this a perfect score.
EDIT: Having read the review, all his points make perfect s...
That always makes me smile.
Ummmm folks this is not customization. The "parts" from what I could tell are the same things from Hot Pursuit....emp, turbo and whatever only you buy them and equip them in slots.
My idea of customization is visual along with technical, and about as visual as it gets is still a paint job and rims. That just isn't enough.
Maybe there is more in the game, but so far it still looks like the last two games they made.
