What was your answer for why MS hasn't been able to create exclusive content the same as Playstation and Nintendo to support Xbox? I'm not sure how that's answered by citing SFV while conveniently neglecting that Xbox One had a Capcom exclusive at launch. It's not parasitic, but it's also not a forward looking approach. I don't care about getting a figurative badge of honor for spending money. I would be all for not spending money if there wasn't a catch. It's not like people are stealing I wouldn't particularly care about the ramifications of Game Pass if they didn't extend beyond Xbox. That narrative ignores a few truths.
Sony may be the first console manufacturer to charge $70 this gen, but there were 3rd party publishers doing it regardless.
