My first LCD was 19" and could only do 720p or 1080i as well. I used to output to 1080i. Not like you can tell the difference between progressive or interlaced in most games anyway.

Yeah they are but it doesn't apply to PS4 games. Also, I think you could get two PS3 games and one PS4 game. It's a cross-platform deal it seems. As for my opinion of Target Canada, I'd say it's still better than Zellers with their four year old games still priced at 59.99$
At least for now in my case. Still waiting for FFX HD and South Park Stick of Truth... but we might see those two ported to nextgen consoles. And in Canada that deal doesn't apply to PS4 games at all so meh. Not interested.
500mb does sound a bit small for an OS even for a console OS. It probably has half of it pre-installed, the rest is the day one patch probably.
Edit: Also it is kind of annoying how people will go on about how fast they can download 500mb or 50gb or whatever. I have an amazing connection that will download 500mb in a few minutes, yes but you don't see me being an internet speed elitist about it. Not everyone has access to fast internet, people.

You can play games on a PS4 without the day one patch. Actually, all consoles have been able to play games without their day one patch. So no, it is not standard practice.

It does suck but the most recent game at my local Zellers was like NHL 2008 or 2009 so I don't know if it's fair to compare them ;p It's still a good deal but yeah I'm disappointed too =.=
Games, like every other software crash all the time regardless of if it's a full version or a demo. While demo's or betas tend to be less stable, full version softwares will crash too. They crash more often than before because their code is a hundred times more complex than previous generations. Not only that, but unexpected OS activity can also cause software or games to crash. Hardware can also be a cause but that is usually the case later down the road when the system has aged.

Not sure they said they were done with Joel and Ellie. They said they were done with the story that was told in the game. Trying to keep spoilers to a minimum. That might mean the characters won't return as you said but they still could.
What a bunch of whiners. Of course it's going to be challenging making a cross-gen game with new platforms. What were they expecting?
The better launch lineup claim is not a fact. It's opinion. Like you who sees the Xbox One launch lineup as the best, I see the PS4 launch lineup as the best but in truth, I think both are pretty weak. It's the games that are coming that I really want.
