I'm not so sure about that. Some people I know play it on PS3 and don't even have PS+. It kind of sucks when you have to pay for PS+ AND the MMO subscription.

The same could be said of any community. Free-thinking is not as common as most people think. Anyway, I'm sure Zoe Quinn is profiting from this. I sure never would have ever heard about Depression Quest if it wasn't for all this mediatic story surrounding it.

Haha! I agree I wouldn't be surprised but I hope you're wrong.

If challenge is approached well enough then yeah I'm all for it. Demon's Souls and especially Dark Souls IMO managed it.

4427d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

I'll probably use them too. At least for my first few playthroughs.

Cueil is right about that actually. What Valve is trying to achieve is really a gamble on a long-term goal of turning Linux into the new standard for gaming on PC. It will take a while if it does work.

But anyway you're right if you limit yourself to PCs. As far as I know, SteamOS is pretty much the only OS for PC with the idea of being a 100% gaming OS.

So the various OS that consoles have been running until now were not true gaming OS? Right.

I don't know about you but I ran into more than a few invisible walls while trying to climb or simply running/walking around. There was also that time while battling a legendary ship where it just went 90 degrees, turned on itself and landed on the Jackdaw. I was like WTH! Lol. Also, I've had the one where a dead soldier follows me around deck, shaking and stuff. Kind of creepy. It's all good fun though.

I probably sunk like 40 hours into it. I can tell you it wasn't nearly as smooth as AC2 at least.

4428d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Loved it but it's about as bug-ridden as AC3 though. Might be worse.

4428d ago 3 agree4 disagreeView comment

Since when does anyone say "director" instead of Hideo Kojima?

4429d ago 5 agree1 disagreeView comment

You're right there has never been a game taking place in the same universe as another while following a competely different storyline. That stuff is exclusive to movies.

4429d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

I'm pretty sure I don't care the PC version looks better ;p I'd still get the PS4 over it.

In my opinion, the games coming for PS3, PS4, X360 and X1 are far outweight anything Nintendo has coming.

inFamous Second Son, Metal Gear Solid V, Dark Souls II. I'll take that over Smash Bros (As much as I love SSB) any day.

And yes. It always takes a while to build up a good library of games. I'm planning on getting a Wii U myself one day but I really see no rush. In the end it all comes down to personal preferences.

4433d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Well, the 3DS is doing well on that front but the Wii U isn't so I agree that he is in no position to talk about either the PS4 or Xbox One.

There are good games coming for the Wii U, though but the same can be said of the other next gen systems.

4433d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

So... according to Reggie, the difference the Wii U and them is that the Wii U is just hardware?

4433d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

Ok?

4435d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I don't know why you're still employed either.

Steam machines are simply PCs that come pre-installed with SteamOS so it can't really have exclusives per se. Unless they were Steam exclusives.

It's as you say, though. It probably won't find a market. I can't imagine a lot of people will buy a steam machine when they can probably get a PC with the same hardware for cheaper/same and just install SteamOS on it. The controller and OS are nice ideas though.

4436d ago 6 agree2 disagreeView comment

That depends on the Steam machine in question.
