You're a bit late to call ripoff. Diabolos has been around since FFV8 in 1999.
Still after the first Diablo. I guess Diablo was ripped off from the bible?
Almost every game nowadays has a day one patch. How does that compare with not being able to play a console offline?
Besides, even if you have an unstable connection you can still download a patch. And guess what: even if you don't have an internet connection at all you can still play the game ;p
Your move.
It's fishing for hits as usual.
Except it's 2gb, right? Isn't the game supposed to be like 10 hours? I guess you're just bad at math ;p
It's like they were okay with the length but the size is just too much.
Lol.
Only the main mission.
I'm not convinced we'll see a lot of DLC for Ground Zeroes. Phantom Pain maybe but probably not GZ. Kojima has never been one to add DLC before. Of course, MGS4 was released before the abusive dlc practices and PW was on PSP so maybe he just never had the opportunity.
He means the GTA San Andreas MP mod.
Pachter doesn't make money off the accuracy of his predictions. He makes money off the controversy of his predictions.
In other words, he doesn't have to be right. He only has to make people talk about it.
^ That.
Just because a game is story-driven doesn't mean it will necessarily make a good movie. I for one don't want it to happen even if I believe it's one of the greatest video game ever made.
@jcomat9
I'm Canadian as well and I agree the game prices did go up recently... drastically but essentially they're still the same price. I'm going digital from now on myself.
On a side note, I was lucky enough to pre-order Second Son before they upped the price so I'm getting it for the old price.
IMO five years is optimistic. I'd give them ten. By then we might have hardware that can run games at full speed.
Exactly. Also, as a programmer I find it to be one hell of a breakthrough in the field of emulation. A lot of people didn't think emulating PS2 was even possible and the PS3 is way more complex.
It also depends on the depth of your wallet. I might get an X1 eventually as well but for now I could only afford one.
I don't think that's the main motivation behind making emulators though you have a point about buying it being a much better option for the time being.
Games are the same price as last gen.
Like the others said it was the same but I played both games for over 30 hours. There's a lot to do besides the main story.
And there's good/evil path.
10 hours if you rush through the story. Same as the other inFamous games I'd say... or pretty much every open world game.
"If so, that could also imply multiplayer across those platforms and the odds of that happening are very low due to the technical differences between current and next-generation consoles."
If the only the differences between current and next-gen are graphical there is no reason why they couldn't do it.
