No. Solid Snake and Liquid were born in 1972. He was already cloned two years prior to Peace Walker.
I agree with you on some points. It wouldn't work with shooters but it would work with some other games such as MMORPGs.
And yeah playing PS4 vs Xbox One would work well. I don't think we'll see that happening anytime soon though.
Ah. Didn't know it had a sniper rifle my bad.
I don't care much about alerts and kills on my first playthrough personally. I get killed a few times, learn to play and take it easy.
Anyway, my best time is 13:50 on hard. No reflex, no auto-aim, no kill, no alert, no retry rank S.
I agree they should've given us a multiplayer beta but I still don't feel it's a rip-off. I've had it for a week and I haven't finished it yet.
Except that it's not a tech demo. A demo, maybe I guess but a tech demo? Maybe you just need to Google tech demo. Also badly written...
" unless your like me and doesn’t mind running a game over and over to find new things "
Other than that I guess the review itself is almost accurate.
MGO3 is being worked on by Kojima Productions LA at the same time as MGSV so I'm pretty sure they already have plenty of maps for online. I'm sure we'll get some sort of early access to MGO before MGSV.
It was two reasons:
First, like you said they wanted Xbox players to play with each other only.
Second, they wanted to put it behind the gold paywall like they did with FFXI and apparently Square was against it this time around.
I'd like to know too. It's completely ridiculous.
I guess it is a record for that one mission though. Still, you'll only get the sniper rifle after getting an A-rank in that mission so I'm not even sure if it really counts.
Lol yeah right try speedrunning that mission in 1:27 on your first try. How about making your own opinions instead of taking those fed to you by the media?
Edit: By the way, he uses the sniper rifle which can only be gotten when you've done the mission at least once by getting an A-rank previously.
The Ground Zeroes mission? It took me about an hour and a half. A few alerts and kills. The six missions about 6 hours total.
They probably count small variations as different endings though. For exemple you saved this guy and he's going to say two lines in your ending.
I love Bioware and their games but they always sucked at endings. I'm not even talking Mass Effect 3. It wasn't even that bad.
I'll grant you it's not for everyone but it's not as short as they say. I'd say somewhere between 5-7 hours if you do all missions at least once. That's what it took me. It'll take a little while from there to get 100% completion. Currently 10 hours, 56% for me. (That's actually the time according to my game as it doesn't count retries for total play time. I'm actually around 12-13 hours I'd say.)
Waiting for the full game or renting it...
That was the PS3 version though.
It's pretty much always been like that in MGS but I agree it's more apparent with GZ.
Worst are the speed runs that use reflex. This guy has talent. I tried the GZ mission once on hard so far and A-ranked it around 25 minutes. I didn't know you could climb around the tower at the beginning though... and I thought being seen driving cars caused alerts on sight. Only jeeps I guess.
It's only one mission though. There are five more. You'd have to have played it a lot already to speed run it like that.
Not a bad review. I agree with a lot of what you said. At least you're trying to demystify rumors about the length. People who keep complaining about the length yet haven't played it themselves are quite annoying. A lot of other reviews out there only fueled those rumors as well.
What I didn't like about GZ:
-Reflex mode (Can be turned off so not so bad either)
-We saw most of the cutscenes from the trailers
-Now I REALLY can't wait for...
You should play Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 for that. He's not going to remake them. He's been clear about that in the past.
