There are sheep on both sides.
Is this supposed to be aimed against GZ? You realize it's 20$ and has more side content than main story, right?
I keep telling that to people too but there's so much misinformation that the majority of people think it's 40$ across all platforms and some even think it's 60$.
Except you can get this one for 20$. Not 60$.
Two hours is the main mission only, though. From what I heard it's actually around 4 or 5 hours with the extra content. And you can also get it for 20$ on last-gen consoles.
Also, it's not the entire game.
I don't think so. The real idea behind releasing Ground Zeroes now is to establish MGSV's place early in the next-gen consoles' life cycle which is a good idea, I think.
Amaro makes a point, too. Journey was around two hours with litte to no replay value and costed 15$ at release. You can get Ground Zeroes at launch for 20$ and the devs promise us replay value and extra content besides the two hours main mission.
Then get it digital for last gen at 19.99$ or wait for The Phantom Pain. No one's forcing you to get the physical version on next gen.
Really, article? I thought Bravely Default was kind of a catchy title. First time I saw it I went "wait, what?" and started researching about it. It's not terrible. Strange, yes but not terrible.
It's actually the first I hear about high failure rate of Samsung products. They're usually high quality. They also make most of their hardware themselves to make sure it's all reliable.
I loved The Last of Us but it did have few issues that broke immersion such as your followers "sneaking" in plain sight and the enemies not seeing them. Then again if you'd get spotted everytime they did that the game would be nearly impossible to beat at the highest difficulty setting... and it'd suck as well.
It's not a huge issue though but I'm sure they can do something about it.
No kidding. The other day I was in the bus when I first saw my first glimpse of that stupid video toy (no way I'm calling it a game) in the hands on some ordinary-looking college girl. I knew as soon as I saw the ripped off assets and simplicity that I was not going to hear the end of it. I knew we'd get countless articles of it on n4g and well... It happened. Plus, I am not shitting you, my girlfriend actually got it just to check out what it was (without me even mentioning it to her...
The greatest features I can think of are:
1. To stop existing
2. To stop being game news
You can do that in difficulties, no? Unless you mean individual rules in which case you're right. And costly, while that sucks, is understandable considering the amount of work that went (and still goes) into development.
It's not an indie game.
The performance issues with Java aren't because it's an old tech. It's because it runs a virtual machine.
You could also wait for Phantom Pain and play it then. I'm getting it now. I don't think anyone's forcing anyone to get it.
Except the gameplay in MGS is also always awesome so I end up replaying it a lot. I can tell you I PLAYED a lot more of EVERY MGS title than just watching cutscenes. In other words my gameplay time>cutscene watching time. Well maybe except Portable Ops. Still played a lot of it.
If you're the kind of person that plays through the main story of a game then never touch it again it's your decision. Just don't judge the game and the people who like it.
I'm pretty sure it's already bundled with it. As in not as a special bundle but the actual standard package.
Possibly. Just get it for 15$ when it drops in price then?
I loved Journey too and played it more than once anyways but I still feel it didn't have a lot of replay value.
