Lol no way I'm trading it in. Ever.
@Kribwalker
That's not a bad idea either. I also live in Canada but last I checked the prices were the same as the US on the PS Store.
It's all a matter of taste. I'd rather play inFamous than Titanfall. Besides, I really see absolutely no game that interest me on X1 except for the multiplatforms (which all run better on PS4 anyway.)
I'm glad to see MGSV doing well despite all the bad publicity and misinformation surrounding it. I can't speak for the rest of the hardcore MGS fanbase but I did move onto nextgen rather fast. Other fans I know are waiting to get their PS4 before buying GZ.
It definitely wasn't desperation anyway ;p
@Slevon
As much as I love GZ, you're right it isn't. GZ is mainly targeted at people who are already fans. I'd start with MGS3 or even MGS1 if you don't mind the dated graphics and mechanics. But MGS3 will do as it's chronologically the first in the series.
Basically it goes like this
MGS3 -> Peace Walker -> MGSV -> MGS1 -> MGS2 -> MGS4
I omitted MPO and MG1, MG2 because the latter two ...
You'd really need to know where to go and play with the reflex mode to do it so fast. It's not so easy without reflex.
There's still a lot of content. That mission is only the first one. I did it in a little over an hour on my first try.
I'd say it has about 6-7 hours of content in all six missions and that's if you don't aim for 100%. If you aim for 100% you probably have around 15-20 hours.
I'm currently at 10 ...
I'm not done listening to those. About halfway through them but you're right so far.
It does but not by much. Not enough if you ask me. Reflex should prevent S ranks like some special items did in Peace Walker.
Wow a speedrun with reflex mode on. He's so good.
I got around 6 hours with the first five missions. I wasn't rushing it but I wasn't taking my sweet time either. I got some more out of it just trying to unlock more content.
It's also 20$ on lastgen if you buy it digital.
Anyway I'd rank it around 6 or 7 hours long in actuality. People online have been judging its length based on the first mission only which is completely stupid. That would be like judging Skyrim's length based on the mai...
He's always had some bias towards Playstation consoles, yes but the Xbox consoles still get the Jamais Vu mission which looks really cool.
@MrKennedy
Who talked about your review? I'm not even talking to you.
Perhaps if you'd stopped to see my reply was intended for JohnathanACE's comment then you'd know that.
Also, good for you for 20% O_o and by the way I've been at 24% since last night so I've played more than you.
It's also interesting to point out you've only done 20% of the game and written a review about it. That really hel...
Have you been lurking on N4G, waiting for the next Metal Gear Rising article just to say something negative on it? Get a life, kid.
That said the level of detail on that figurine is incredible.
Yeah it's pretty funny. Perhaps if you gave it a try instead of repeating what you've read and heard then you'd see that it's no demo.
I'm at 4 hours, 2/6 missions done. 13% total completion. Can't wait to get back in when I have some free time.
You've done all missions under an hour?
@Hakeem
Shows how much you know. Sony only makes you pay for online gaming... excluding MMORPGs. And that's on PS4. It's still completely free on Vita and PS3. Also, PS+ gives you a lot for your money whereas XBL pretty much only takes your money. Though they did start giving you 8 year old games lately.
Edit: I remember FFXI on 360. You had to pay for XBL AND the FFXI online subscription even if it was played on Square Enix's servers.
@hakeem
What the hell do Sony fanboys have to do with anything?
Also, why blame people who purchased it? It's their business. Maybe you should clean yourself before pointing fingers and judging others.
MGS3 and especially Peace Walker are more necessary I think. It's like BiggCMan said though, there are only two major cutscenes that progress the story.
Don't let the bad reviews get to you. GZ is no demo. Whoever says anything to the contrary either hasn't played it or was planning to rip on the game from the beginning.
It's only not worth it if you only play the GZ mission and don't continue from there. There's five other missions ...
I pre-ordered it, got it tuesday but since I'm in College I barely had time to play it yet so your argument is 2000% invalid.
And now I officially hate you.
I remember he said that too.
I'm not really bothered by the light. Only sometimes when I notice the reflection in my TV but I usually don't. What I think sucks is how the light might never be used/used much.
It's a good thing, yeah. If only to save battery life.
It sucks about the downgrade but the game still looks pretty good and in the end I was more impressed by its gameplay mechanics than the graphics so of course I'm still getting it.
