Just looking at the syntax, it seems like that was a language barrier more than him saying "Yes, the trailer is from in-game footage." I'm sorry, I can't trust PD with these trailers after they passed of that GT psp stuff (pics and trailers, like the very first trailer for it) as in-game when it was really just enhanced graphics running off of the psp hardware. And those freakin ps fanboys swore up and down that those were the graphics, that the graphics looked better than even forz...
And what I hate most is that PD will probably not respond and clarify anything in a timely manner...but then again maybe in Japan, if that's the community that PD watches, already know's what's up with this video.
I like what someone said earlier--there isn't even a GT5 logo anywhere. If they wanted to advertise the game, they would have told us it came from gt5
There are no reasons to capture screens from the video because it's just good rendering and not a represen...
But you don't disagree that just because gt5 has more cars that it shouldn't have won in the cars section.
Double-standards eh? As always.
People can complain that he doesn't even have all the info about gt5, but there's no mistake that forza will have better customization and community aspects...As far as I know, there isn't even a community with gt5 prologue. Anyway, PD is not going to pull an extensive livery editor out of their a$$es at TGS or any other time. Le...
But the anti-aliasing is nowhere near as good as in those screens in my experience with the prologue editions. (don't try to bash me; you all know those are pictures from prologue.)
The build shown in this video was the same one as GamesCon. Therefore, it doesn't show improvement from the last time we saw GT5. The work has already been done for them last month in terms of showing how much damage GT5 had.
We all know something is going to improve by the time gt5 comes out so these videos should not pop up anymore of the subaru impreza footage trying to show off damage in GT5.
hopefully, since PD obviously has a japanese show bias (as they should...
Is so sweet!!
I know it's off-screen but it looks great
It's already late September, so GT5 HAS to be going gold at the moment. This would mean that PD would be announcing gt5's "goldness" at TGS...
NOT GOING TO HAPPEN
That's not going to happen for a while in console games...
ssds aren't even an affordable commodity yet. You still have to pay many hundreds of dollars to get one of those, no matter how efficient they are.
I'm not commenting on your comment in the context to this story; really I'm calling you out on rendering disk drives "obsolete" in the context of the current electronic marketplace
There haven't been very many racing games to compare this to this year in terms of graphics. This year is perceived to be a good year for racing fans mainly because of 3 games-the other 2 are gt5 (if it comes) and Shift. O yea, Race On if you own a pc. But all the other games aren't trying to do graphics as much as forza 3 and gt5 so of course forza 3 is the best you've seen for this year. That supercar challenge isn't bad looking, maybe it uses more polygons than Shift, but it, like many oth...
He was playing the build that was at GamesCon; this even must have been like a little after or a little before. If this guy didn't mention that even though his c0ckpit view went to 30 fps and tht the real engine still gives you 60, he obviously is not an informed guy. Also, he uses a lot of profanity and while it can be appealing at times, it automatically does not make him a professional writer. Maybe he doesn't want to be; in order to not be snobby or something. I would have taken his opini...
Definitely Gamescon footage. A bit of an old build but it's all good; nice footage. Ever since like June or July, people have been saying that the forza 3 demo would probably be the e3 build. I would hope not, because it's not representative of the final game; they made a lot of changes in the graphics since then. i hope they've been working on a preview code to give to us that's like from early august or late july or something. :/
A demo a month before the game releases is stil...
I'm not making the comment in context of the xbox 360 or other consoles. I know the 360 can't render this game. In this world of talented people, even if Sony didn't exist, there would still be a console on which Naughty Dog could develop Uncharted. Maybe it would be later than now if it wasn't for sony, or even sooner. However, given our timeline, it would be anachronistic and not very smart for anybody to have released a console of the ps3's power in like 2003.
Like I said, the...
Uncharted wins, not the freakin ps3. It's part of the winning party but don't forget Naughty Dog are the victors. I shoulda known fanboys would automatically say "PS3 wins."
THis had everything to do with the talent of Naughty Dog; the PS3 was just a vessel
Oh my Goodness!
but the 60fps is not sensed as greatly as it is even during forzamotorsport.net's streaming video

It's that Veyron Video in 720p which of course includes direct feed footage. the game doesn't have very many jaggies..
Would that be xbox 360 owners?
And you said "near-simulation." Please don't tell me that you are calling Forza a "near-simulation game" and GT5 a "simulation game."
psssh. PUHlease..
Sometimes it honestly looked like a broadcast. I'm not sure but it even seems like the cloth physics have improved
I'm pretty sure it was; like he had it on hard mode but put the racing line in.
I'm actually proud of the damage. It's probably going to be more involved than GT5's. We won't know until we see though..
October can't come soon enough
I wanted gamersyde to zoom in at random times during the replay to see how it looked when zoomed in.
It would like, half confirm that the tribute video was all in-game. Just by the look of the replay, we know that it was in-game probably with just increased resolution or textures.
congrats PD
