There are obviously advantages and disadvantages to Turn 10's release schedule.
I don't know which one outweighs the other, but what I do like is that the frequent occurrence of iterations allow them to receive feedback constantly.
wack voice acting
cool gameplay
I really don't like the "4" for some reason.
They tried too hard
The Wii is supposed to be more powerful than the Gamecube, but I can't tell with these screens.
Maybe it's just because I've seen all the great graphics on the ps3 and 360. They've likely tainted my ability to say what looks like last generation and what doesn't.
I don't fully trust this announcement but a nice amount of this is probably true.
We have to remember also that if these are the current specs, no wonder sony is having problems with keeping it cool.
Since the leading mass-consumed smartphones currently run with 512 MB of ram, there is no reason the psp can't support 1gb of ram..
no, he's talking about 3d glasses to be able to see the 3d through the youtube video
I agree with his overall point because I know what he's trying to say, but the way that he wrote this article makes it very easy to disagree with him or write him off.
He writes with no effective conviction; the points in the article where he gets really critical of the game do not move me nor does it really move the article forward.
I wonder what kind of critical writing training he's gotten
Are you serious?
DS has 132 million units sold.
PSP has 62 million units sold.
Fuck outta here.
Is not news. However, this is very important at the Sony camp. They are in the business.
However, the dsi and dsi ll are still outselling the psp and psp go.
It's all for fun. That's why it's DLC and isn't a feature in the retail copy.
Forza isn't even news anymore. It came out almost a year ago.
GT5 is current. So any bugs that show up should be reported, just like they were for Forza 3.
I don't know if you saw them, but Capcom released images of Resident Evil Revelations showing what the graphics are like with 3d on and off.
Hopefully a lot of developers take their route and the game will look better if you turn the 3d off. I imagine this happening with developers who aren't working from the ground up for graphics like Capcom isn't.
They should--imposing the 3d effect on your eyes make them behave in unnatural ways and can cause...
Try not to think about it like that.
When we buy handhelds, we are paying for the sophisticated technology that allows you to portably play games.
Handhelds, especially the 3ds, have expensive parts in them compared to consoles.
In the electronics world, the smaller you go before the world catches up, the more expensive your product is.
I reckon Sony will try to release the ps4 around the same price as the ps3 on inflated do...
"Nintendo is really hurting over there rightn ow with PS3/360 making the wii looking like last gen (not hard) console and the Ipod/ipad/iphone gathering more market share everyday...time to change it up"
Have you actually looked at any charts??
The Wii has sold more than the PS3 and 360 sales combined. Nintendo's pockets are far from hurting. They're fucking bulging.
The Apple products have had a surge in sales in the past 2...
Would you look at those frickin particle effects?
Tasty
My concern is that we have full control.
Hopefully, they weave fatigue in there, because while we may not get tired like we played an hour of basketball, the ingame character should.
The make percentage probably and should dwindle the longer the virtual player plays. Maybe they will decrease the area of the "shot made" section of the shot diagram, but will this be enough to carry out simulation basketball?
This may be skill based v...
I still don't understand why journalists record 3ds footage in 3d, knowing that we can't see the graphical effects well.
this is why nintendo didn't let people record the 3ds during e3, because they knew the journalists were going to do this shit.
Well they make controllers for PCs and Macs...what's the difference? They've crossed over in both departments on some things.
Is the Truth!
I'm a person with fairly regular eyesight so what I say may be biased.
I just played it in store yesterday and I can see how it can hurt the player. The key to this is relaxing the eyes. The feeling is quite similar to daydreaming.
Being on edge and trying to focus your eyes makes it hurt. People have to be trained for 3D viewing it seems
