COD is one of the best MP games for the PS3. We don't have Halo, so this needs to be fixed.
But the 360 has Netflix, ESPN and other services that they justify charging you a monthly fee for.
Oh yeah, I forgot, I can get those for free on a BD player, or the other two consoles.
I am going to have check this out. Sony should really consider a controller like this for the PS4.
Does he know that he can just preorder the game? What a fool.
What scares me is that they are still charging us $299 for a PS3. How much is the PS4 going to be at launch?
WHat scares me is that the current generation is kind of expensive.
I never understood the pre ordering games thing. They are always available at launch.
I switched from 360 to PS3 last year. When I figured out what I had paid for XBOX live since it started with the original XBOX(over $400), I pretty much said it is time for a change.
I really like the PS3, and haven't looked back. The exclusives are great, and I really like the variety of games that they offer. I do miss Halo a little bit, but have survived without it. It also took me a while to get used to the Dual Shock controller. The 360 analog sticks are a much better design...
Hows that 4 gig or arcade model working for ya now?
On the DS3 my hands get cramped. The sticks being so close together baffles me. My thumbs hit each other when playing.
I know it is opinion, but I don't see how anyone in their right mind could prefer a PS controller over the 360 controller.
I hope this one works well. I've been waiting for a 360 style controller since I got the PS3. The controller is my only complaint about the PS3. A lot of times in games like COD, I click the thumb stick when I am trying to pull the trigger to shoot, which then I melee. It drives me crazy.
You can't compare apples and oranges.
I think they need to make the online play more fun. I personally don't think it is on the same level of Halo, COD, or the Battlefield series. The campaign was a lot of fun, but I only played online portion for about a month.
This thing is going to be expensive. I bet they try to get at least $150 for the controller alone.
It's the kiddie box. MS is looking at the money Nintendo made with all of their shovelware aimed at little kids, and are following right in Ninteno's footsteps.
I totally agree with you. That is the reason I ditched the 360 for the PS3 this year. I had Live since it started with the original Xbox, and figured I have paid them about $400 over the years.
Now I game for free online, and I think the PSN works just as well as Live for gaming.
$15.00 x 4 = $60. Go buy a 1 year when the go on sale for around $40.
For the love of God people, please don't buy this crap. Show them we are not willing to pay a monthly fee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I had an Xbox, I got the dreaded RROD 2 days after I purchased Halo 3. I was without it for a month, and of course couldn't even play single player mode. I was given 1 free month of xbox live, which only replaced the month of Live that I lost.
I say good job Sony, for offering us anything at all.
When PSN started getting on par with Live a few years back, what does MS do? They raise the price another $10 a year. The best part is, people still pay. I can't really fault Microsoft. If anyone wants to send me $60 a year for nothing, I would take it also.
