SOAD, no one argues that the PC version will be the best.
Gabe Newell didn't say the ps3 version would be the best version... he said best CONSOLE version.
What do you expect them to say? We suck... go buy our competitor's product?
They have to make their company look good. Articles like this do nothing but gather the fanboys. Well, I guess the contributor thought news was slow today so he changed the original article's title and spiced it up just for fun
camping exists in halo... its just not as annoying or prevalent...
and even youtube xl is pretty mediocre. the searches never seem to get the correct videos. A dedicated app would be much better.
Well consider the fact that its running at twice or four times the res (depending on how you look at it) when not using 3D... of course it will look better.
Nonetheless, the gpu could've been more powerful, no doubt the psp2 will easily beat it in terms of plain 2D graphics.
it'll be so interesting to see how this works. This game is 99% perfect. Now we just need to wait on confirmation that GT5 will be using generic interiors for cockpit view, because that would be better than that ugly back interior view like on gt psp.
Of course its basic... they've only been working on the game for 18 months
count me out. I'd rather use that money to buy a game because I dont really buy all that much on the playstation store and i could care less about betas. So for me, there's not much benefit to paying $50 a year to get what they give you. Though I will admit its a great value, and easily pays for itself and more, its just that I don't NEED to have those extras, and I don't want to add to my budget.
fps games on the wii definitely did not suit me, but i hear many people say that move works pretty well with fps games, and in some cases better than the ds3, so even though I think i'll prefer the ds3, i just really want to try out move with socom or k3.
This is shaping up to be an awesome game. Can't wait to find out the details on how multiplayer is going to work, both offline and online.
I think the disappointment of Kinect was that people thought it was going to be a new experience totally different from the wii, and move was going to fail because it was going to be exactly like the wii but the exact opposite happened.
In some ways, Kinect has more similarities to the wii than the similarities between Move and the Wii. The hardware between Move and Wii maybe similar, but in the end, the software makes the experience different.
I remember Final Fantasy XI being having a pretty successful cross platform system.
Maybe the objects in the game look like COD, but look farther than that. Look in the distance, and you'll actually see buildings in the distance and clouds that add to the depth. The maps(assuming this is multiplayer) actually feel expansive, instead of feeling like the maps that are in the middle of nowhere like in MW2.
It might look like COD, but im glad it won't be a noob fest online since the online portion is being managed by Dice.
yeah, my friend got one and his doesn't have this bootscreen. I'm guessing this is the bootscreen for that UI built for Kinect.
it would be cool if we all got it though.
Finally!! an NFS title with cops
i dont think the lag is really that significant, since most of the titles shown don't require quick movement

i think this is the first positive...ish thing they've said.
Im sorry, I wasn't aware people already knew what the 3DS might look like, have an analouge stick, a depth slider, SD card slot, the ability to play 3D movies, kingdom hearts, resident evil, metal gear solid, a new zelda game, DK returns, mario sports mix, just dance 2, or probably the biggest announcement, golden eye...
On that note, I really do think the winner was Sony. Although Nintendo's stuff was impressive, nothing really amazed me. Sony's was just spectac...
You want to make a big finish and save the best parts for last so it stays on everyone's mind. It definitely is good.
I'm just disappointed we didn't see Uncharted 3, Agent, and Last Gaurdian... oh well, I guess we'll see some of it in GDC then.
this is why we are never supposed to discuss Politics, Sex, and Religion.
It doesn't end nicely.
