while I don't disagree that MANY gamers use the score as an indicator of whether to purchase the game or not, in my opinion, its stupid to base your decision on review scores. I would read the actual review then decide. The reasons scores are useless are because everyone has different tastes and the scores vary from person to person. Some one might consider a 7 to be "VERY GOOD", and someone else might consider a 7 to be "BAD".

if thats the ONLY way it could fail, then it's impossible for the game to fail, because there's a reason why the GT series is so popular - the mechanics.
Being hardcore 24/7 isn't fun. Its why games like LBP, mario, and other casual games are a nice breath of fresh air. In my opinion, Just Dance is one of the best wii games, and the gameplay is how the wii was meant to be played. I have fun playing it on off days or after a long stressful day of work. Sure you'll look silly, but its fun to play with friends/family, and you'll be having too much fun to care about how silly you look. I guess it would be kind of boring to play it alon...
In my opinion, Alan Wake failed because there isn't a huge market for short good single player only games on the 360. Now if it also released on the PC, I think it would have sold around 2 million, both PC+360.
How many 10 hour single player only games do you see selling well on the 360?
By the way, GT5 doesn't have to advertise to sell well. There are two things that will make it sell - Reputation and Word of Mouth.

the next big format IS bluray. Bluray is still expanding. Its in its infancy stages right now... imagine the loading times when we get faster read speeds, imagine the possibilities with more layers.
By next gen, bluray will come to dvd like prices.

There are people who have actually played the game, and have posted what their impressions of it online. Many say the heavy feel of your soldier in K2 isn't there in K3, which was generally the main complaint of killzone 2.

Im sorry, but last time I checked, ALL 360's with HDMI had HDMI 1.2, and 3D support came with HDMI 1.4, which the ps3's HDMI 1.3 has enough bandwidth to support. So in reality, 360 can't do the real 3d because you would sacrifice resolution, and maybe even some audio quality.
That being said, I can't imagine myself buying a 3D TV until the next gen of consoles or until enough good 3d ps3 games are released. For now, it just seems impractical, because every sin...

2014 seems like too late of a release date although i wouldn't rule early 2014 out.
