It depends on what you define as "native 3d", but imo, the ps3 isn't the first native 3d platform.
The ps3 uses hdmi 1.3, which has enough bandwidth to do high quality 1080p 3d images. Other platforms can't do this.

Sony said converting a ps3 game to 3d isn't a huge effort because they want to promote 3d, and they want devs to try it.
That being said, these are handheld games, not full blown console titles. They have shorter development times, and lower budgets. its harder to do 3d as a handheld dev than it is as a console dev.

I actually play a lot of games when I travel for work. Especially since it seems like your flight is always the one that seems to be delayed anywhere from the typical 15 minutes to the weather delaying 3 hours. And I have a lot of time to kill at the hotel also.

I don't think Kinect's going to fail. This thing is definetly going to sell. It might be unpopular with the current 360 hardcore crowd, but it does whats its aimed to do, get the casual crowd. I don't think any of us are going to like its because its clearly being made a casual only device, but everyone's who's played it says its fun no matter how stupid you look, and thats all the casuals care about.

Yes, bluray will be around for another 10 years, and im sure that the ps4 won't be using this... maybe the ps5 will use this tech, but it is in no way a waste of resources. tech isn't invented in a day, and if this is the future, im not seeing how its a waste.
its true that if you want a gaming pc, you need to get a desktop, not a laptop, but there's different types of people out there. I travel a lot, so I needed a laptop that has enough juice to play games on normal to high settings, while still being portable. I'm loving my super cool,silent core i7/ati 5730 in my laptop.(its a mobile graphics card so its not as good as desktop 57xx)

I'm not even sure you know what the term "flop" means. You say it has sold 2.5 million, and you're calling it a flop. If killzone 2 was a flop, why do people still play it today? Why are we still talking about it? Why does it have a metacritic score of over 90? Why is a sequel being made? How did the developer make money? The game has clearly made an impression in the gaming world. Hardly a flop.
