Games Radar say right at the beginning that they loved Halo 3 and admit giving it 10/10, but spend the rest of the article bashing the life out of it. How can they give a game the perfect 10/10 if there are SO many things that annoy them about it?

I'm liking the look of this game and I'm really looking forward to it. Certainly on my list of games to buy this holiday season!
The only thing that sort of bugs me is when you get hit you have all that blood on the top of the screen - I'm sure they could have adapted that better.
Goods news! The PSN is also going to have Ratchet & Clank and hopefully PES, I'd be very happy if I get those three :) Wonder what others there will be?
It's not 'rubbish', but it's not exactly the best game out there either. I feel like it's been well done, but after playing the demo for a while it seemed to get a bit boring to me. You seem to get the same comments repeated after a little while.
I've already pre-ordered my copy after playing the demo on XBL. I wish they'd hurry up with the demo on PSN cause I'm planning to buy it for my PS3 and want to see what it's like on it first.
I haven't managed to pull off the new 'dive' feature yet either, although I have seen the AI use it against me a few times (but always resulted in a yellow card). I wonder if you can actually 'cheat' with it?

Do you mean to say that PSN got something before XBL?? The PSN demo is only 875mb, I wonder why the XBL version is over twice as big. I had a little play around with this demo yesterday and the game doesn't seem anything special to me. But that is my humble opinion, it could be a great game to some people...

I don't see the point in paying more for only those few seconds. But it's good to see it doesn't make the PS3 any louder or hotter, so if you have the cash to splash, then why not? Is there any other negative besides costing more?

They must be pretty bored over at IGN if they're starting to review downloadable games and reviewing them as if they're a fully priced game. As everyone has said, what do you expect for that price? It's 20th the price of a fully produced game...
I have no clue how their scores work, but it certainly isn't the average between all the scores. If it was, this game would get 3.2, which still isn't something to shout about lol
Exactly, so $2.99 is 20th of the cost of a full production game so you'd expect it to have around 20 times as less content?

What is annoying though is that XBL have had the PES demo for a while now, but I don't want to play it on the Xbox, I want to play it on my PS3 - where it's meant to be played! :)
Sony are useless at hyping anything. There biggest game out so far (Heavenly Sword) has had little to no advertising, Warhawk gets no publicity and I bet if you asked 10 people on the street they wouldn't even know it's multiplayer only. Not to mention, when was the last advert for the actual PS3??
I especially like how you can get up close to people and start beating them up instead of having to use your guns all the time. A nice touch that.
Who cares if this game is similar to Tomb Raider? Firstly, that's not a bad thing. Secondly, Tomb Raider isn't on the PS3 so it's a first for the system. My understanding of their term 'localisation' means that they have to translate the game for every single country in Europe. To my knowledge there is no legal issues, just the time it takes to make each thing understandable. I can't say for sure whether Microsoft and Nintendo have the same problem, but I don't think so... can anyone comment for sure?
Why do all the European countries need to be effected by 'localisation'? Why not just release it to each country as and when it's ready for that country? I know recent weekly updates have had different content depending on which country - so why not do that all the time? That way, not every European country is penalised.
I think the only people who don't want a price cut are the people who already own a PS3! lol Well maybe not actually, cause I want more of my mates to have a PS3...
Agree with all the points made. Hopefully these features come soon as they'll make the PS3 experience MUCH more enjoyable! I especially want to be able to clean up all my downloaded games and demo's with folders, as well as my videos...
I personally would rather have a few advertisements around than have to pay for Home. Might sound like I'm being cheap, but you want to have more people in it - if they make people pay then there wont be as many people in the world of Home than if it was free. The more people, the more social the PS3 becomes and better multiplayer games you can have. Win-Win situation! :)
