Many people here are saying 600 DOA, fail, too expensive or whatever but the truth is, the Scorpio can deliver native 4K and probably will cost only 600. Same quality on PC will cost you over 1000 and 90% of games are on both platforms. Why is it so bad suddenly? The aim of a game consoles have always been " cheaper/st way to play games ", the Scorpio is no exception. This device will deliver you the cheapest way to play games at 4K in the end of the year and you should be happy tha...
Scorpio is a full next gen machine released before the normal 7-8 year circle. Whatever they call it, upgrade between the generations. The specification in terms of "all-in" and not holding back. It is much more powerful than the PS4 Pro (at least 40%) and it will cost between the 500-600 (probably 600). PS4 Pro is so cheap because they overclocked the old hardware. Scorpio will have all the new components, nothing is as fake as the Pro is.
Xbox One exclusives do not sell 2.6Million because they are not 9/10 or 10/10 games. They need to release it also on PC to grab as much money as possible from a mediocre game, most of them are just 6/10 or 7/10 games and requires 2 platforms to make a decent number in sales.
Forza 7 is their only hope to show the power and the "cap" between the Pro and the Scorpio but considering that the game runs at 60 fps .. will be difficult to achieve. Imo they need something like Ryse 2, open world, locked at 30 fps, a beautiful environment and many enemies/physics going on at once, then they can endlessly say on stage how beautiful it is in a 4K. Forza Horizon 4 could also work in the same manner. But games like Crackdown 3 or Pirates of the Sea, I doubt.
2020 absolute minimum. End of 2021 probably. You can calculate the estimate cost of the system...10TF on todays standards will cost at least 800$/€ .. You can not go on much less than 1 TF = 100 $/€ .. about 90 it is possible yes, but not 75 or less. 10 TF = 750 (this would be the price of PS5) AT LEAST. Where did these guys come from? So wrong!
Ok, better translation: Scorpio is perfect, better than the PS4 Pro. The idea of how a successor should look like. I have to explain, since you probably haven't heard what Microsoft wants you to tell of the purpose of the Scorpio, about the pricing, and what is the goal. If you think that it is too expensive, you can still use your S .. nobody is forcing you to buy the Scorpio (there are no "only on Scorpio" exclusive games), all of the games work in both systems but if you real...
Scorpio is perfect, better than PS4 Pro as a idea, i have to explain you, because you clearly haven't listen what they have to say about the Scorpio and over the price and what is the goal of the thing .if you think it's too expensive you can stick with the S .. noone forces you to buy it (No "only on Scorpio" exclusive games), all the games work on both systems. but if you really are a hardcore xbox player, you have the dollars to spend, you care about the quality and power...
1TFLOPS = 100€/100$ is the easiest way you can calculate the approximate price. .. do not believe the 400 price tag .. 550€ already would be a better price/performance than PS4 Pro (Which already owns this title). It will cost exactly 600 or very close. Even 550€ will be hard to accomplish but doable. 500 or lower, not possible.
If there is something outdated, it is the Switch itself, 720p , 800p or whatever in 2017 is not outdated but rather offensive. You can do a little math, how much each system should cost, 1TF = around 100 $/€ but asking 300 for a 1TF is a joke. This is a money grabbing system, users opinions don't count here.
This checkkerboardeingcoenigseggeni ng is same as I almost win a lottery, so close, that close that I feel it, I can see it, I can smell it, but still isn't a real thing.
30 fps and 4K is nothing special to Scorpio. 60 fps is the territory where you probably have to start to lower the texture quality to achieve it. If you look at the benchmark results of the 980 Ti (5.6 Tflops).. 30 fps is quite easily manageable.
Twice the size, twice as empty. Don't let fool you! Less is more and it works so many areas, including games. More details, more interesting places to go and see cuz more attention has gone to the environment. Imagine, a sequel is announced, 10 times bigger than the previous game, you'll end up something like this.. http://marathon100.com/uplo...
They have not mentioned the power of the Cloud for some time. Crackdown 3 is progressing very well probably, Servers are now up and running (4 years later), the power is just around the corner, E3 is the place to release it! ~~ Unleash the beast! ~~
Edit:
The biggest advantage and a true value of Play Anywhere would be if upcoming Scorpio can also support all the PC games ever released. Then it sounds much more logical and useful but not in a state where it is right now, Particularly unfavorable to Xbox only owners.
Timed exlusives are also the problem, and play Anywhere (also on PC), kills the Xbox brand slowly as well. I do not see a single positive thing about it. If they care about the money (more platforms -> better income), then go for it, if you care about the fans, and the Xbox brand, do not release a game on both platforms, Your xbox is not doing so well. There is a strong line, which runs between the two platforms, a console gamer and a PC gamer, 90% of times you are one of them, and not bot...
There are several ways to start the show, one of which is simply that Gerard Butler walks onto the stage in a 300 costume and we all know what that means ..
Heartstone is not a skill based game (at least no more than 20%). 80% is mixture of RNG and how much time and real world money you've spent in the game. RNG is also divided into two parts: which cards you will draw in what order (50% yours + 50% your opponent cards). This is the thing you cannot control. If you do not have a sheep (Mage) to kill the early 10/10 or more VanCleef you are out of luck my friend not out of skill. Some decks counter the other, also the thing you cannot control....
