It uses the sale old bottlenecking CPU as PS4 does .. it was dated when it launched back in 2013 and is even more dated next month when it gets his 2nd release .. We'll see. aleast 90% of games should be running at native 2160p or do not even mention the word .. "4K". Suddenly, Jaguar not so Sparta anymore?
Very good game but runs like shiet on Xbox One. Technical side is a mess, never achieves his 30 fps target + last gen graphics BUT still enjoyable and worth buying for sure! Loading times are also too long even from an SSD.
I still have my Day One Edition console. I bought it when it released + 2 games (1 included) close to 800€. I didn't cry about it. 600€ was a mere console and Kinect.
They have already moved on, resolution is replaced with a good story. The story is the only thing you can not make any better with an additional power. Better physics, frame rate, AI, effects and so on, this war they have also lost, because + 2TF of power also affects that part. The story is the only thing that is left.
300$ console for those who can't afford a Scorpio yet (requires also a new 4K TV) .. still great graphics and experience.
500$ console to hardcore gamers, gift for fans .. who can afford a more expensive system, sounds much better than a 300$ PS4 and only a 100$ more expensive something between the FHD and 4K .. nothing to please the hardcore gamers here. Take it or leave it. They should adopt a new promo sentence "But It still looks grea...
If you have the money to buy a 700-1000 phone, you probably have that extra 100 to buy the Scorpio as well. Apple products are expensive and they sell like hot cakes. If you really want it, you'll probably find the way to buy it. They only have to make it tempting .. the power, the size and, to show the difference (if there is any).
X1 release was anything else than "tempting". I hope they have learned. That was just pure arrogance cubed.
Even if the game runs in both systems upscaled 4K, you can use that +2TB to achieve better or more stable fps, better effects or physics, or whatever else, not only the resolution. If you say that +30% performance gap isn't worth it or not visible in any way, then the GTX 1070 would be your dream graphics card, why ever consider a 1080 GTX??
People didn't like the price, because the system was slower, ugly looking, mandatory Kinect (why I have to pay if I'm not interested) and stuff like this..then it is not justified.
Strategy is simple here..They wanted to Pro be as inexpensive, but at the same time as close to 4K as possible. This is definitely a compromise. Scorpio will be expected to cost +100, around 500€$ (+20% more) and offers a 30% performance increase, ultimately a better deal. You spend that 100 (+1,6$ per month) for the next 4-5 years, and when you get an additional +2TB of raw power, who wouldn't want that? People are losing hundreds of dollars each year to get another new iPhone, although,...
I was super excited when they announched the game (cmon it's Remedy). First gameplay demos or glimpses were good enough to make it a must buy for me but more I saw the more it was confirmed, that gameplay is not interesting(repetitive) and they are focusing too much on the story. Ended up more or less like the Order 1886 and I did not buy the game. I think that many felt the same.
Sony's first 4K console, almost 4K. Not fully 4K but so so close to 4K we can name it 4 as good as my speed record is 300, 285 to be exact, it is basically 300, No? I almost would have won the jackpot, I was wrong by one number, supposed to be 23 but was 22 instead, that means I basically won the grand price right? I'm a millionaire!!!1extreme rounding .. 2themax
It is called "opinion".There is no such thing as most beautiful woman, best song, car or whatever, everything is subjective, games also. What is best to you, is maybe mediocre to me.
4K support is non existent on Pro, only arcade or simpler games, remastered games (older engines) and so on..triple A or exclusives only UPSCALED (you cannot call that 4K support).. not even having a 4K player inside.
VR is pointless, only ruining your eyes. The system also requires twice the power of PS4 Pro in order to look decent, so you not only get a headache but you'll see a bad graphics.
