You can't finish the game.. there is no "gameplay".

The funny thing is that the main character trained (in real life) for 2 years to fight with a sword, in a game where there is almost no fighting.

Their only system seller is Forza Horizon 5...no wonder, and even that is playable on PC.

How to grow something with 0% exclusivity. PC parts are the lowest they've been in years...everything is so cheap and removes any limitations you have...fps...resolution...mous e/keyboard support...probably a lot of friends are on PC... Game Pass is also on PC...Kinect is dead (it wasn't that important anyway). All the games are released on PC...etc, etc, etc. Microsoft is definitely not scratching their heads right now and wondering what is wrong with Xbox, because they have done abs...

The situation looks like this in reality. Of course, I don't know all the nuances, but an independent studio generally wants to go under a big company to get financial backing so they can make the games they dream of. Then a bad game is made...for some reason...the big company gets disappointed, a lot of money was spent on them and they had to shut down the company they bought, because they lost faith in them. That's exactly what happened. I don't know what happened to Tango...

How can you grow the console market by doing the exact same thing but 50% worse than the PC market? As Linus' video showed, you can build a used PC for the same money, but it's 50% more powerful than the PS5. Practically all games are on PC. A console gives you virtually no advantage...yes, convenience and system size maybe, but resolutions and framerates are severely limited and the games are all the same. Game Pass is also on PC (speaking of Microsoft). I've been a long time Xbo...

to -Foxtrot:
Fallout 76 was not made by the main Bethesda team (Fallout 4 etc.), but by a completely different team based in a different city (B-Tier). That's why it s****d. Fallout 4 is (A-tier) and Starfield is supposed to be A-Tier as well game but the quality of the game suffered due to bad decisions (random planets) and the sheer size of the game.

The combat is completely secondary. People should prepare themselves that this is not a fighting game.

Sony isn't interested in making a sequel if only 10% buy their next masterpiece. They have a serious problem because everyone is playing CoD and Fortnite. Statistics don't lie, there's no point in arguing. Sony is desperate. They are trying a GaaS strategy to save their company because money doesn't come from under a rock.

All the first things in the world have been a failure, the first picture, the first flight, etc. but we have perfected them. Microsoft is picking up where Stadia left off (lack of experience in cloud gaming) and moves to the next stage where it works significantly better or even perfectly.

Even if Stadia already worked well, there were many other shortcomings, a whole new ecosystem (couldn't continue friends list), list of games actually a joke, online multiplayer was a...

Microsoft will sooner or later go the way of Stadia, but better preparation and game support. You buy the controller, stream everything through the cloud. You can buy games digitally or subscribe to Game Pass. Microsoft is better prepared than Sony. Back to the roots...becoming mainly a software company.

Remedy: we have currently no plans to fix the annoying feature called the "used game market". We worked hard on our baby...I mean "the game" and want every penny for it. We have the right to protect our business model. Good day sir.

They started developing the game with 35 people. Now they have around 100 people (still a small studio). Also their first AAA game. Probably not supported by other studios. Considering all this, it makes sense that it took 8 years to develop. Arrowhead isn't Sony's first party studio.

The funny thing about your comment is that you can do all of this. Game Pass is not a mandatory, but an optional service.

724d ago 2 agree10 disagreeView comment

That would be lying and wouldn't end well, as Microsoft confirmed a while back that their first party games would only be available with Game Pass.

In his own words:
Phil Spencer says future Bethesda games will be exclusive to "platforms where Game Pass exists".

In the next 10-20 years, the physical will disappear. Better prepare, don't resist. The discless PS5 is proof of what's to come. Even Sony knows this. This isn't just a "cheaper" PS5...but the beginning of a transition.

The studio wants to maximize profits. They have the right to do so. They own the product and decide when, where and how they release it.
