I don't know but honestly, I don't really notice or care. The game is great regardless. I'm enjoying the hell out of it.

Define "lots of PS5's everywhere". As in, you could walk into any Best Buy, Gamestop, Wal Mart, etc, and there were PS5's on the shelf to buy on the spot? Because frankly I've never seen that and any time PS5's were made available for purchase online, they were gone in minutes. MS is undoubtedly benefitting from Sony not being able to produce enough consoles to keep up with demand.
Only because of availability of the "S". I guarantee you if Sony could make more PS5's, they would be leaving Xbox in the dust in sales.
I agree. I'm not sure when corporations decided to become activists and get publicly involved in social/political issues. I don't give a rat's ass whether or not you support this cause or that cause. Just do your job, produce your products, and let me decide whether those products are worth buying.
I certainly care about it. Taking off and landing from planet to planet is one of my favorite things to do in No Man's Sky. It's so satisfying, feeling the shaking and rumbling of the Dualsense as a planet's atmosphere grabs you as you're hurling towards it's surface!

Especially on PS5 with the way the Dualsense reacts to your ship rumbling and vibrating!
The market dictates value. Clearly enough people see value in the Firefly Edition of this game because it's already sold out. Sony understands it's audience and what you call arrogance, I would call thorough market research on Sony's part. If the market spoke and nobody bothered with the Firefly Edition, Sony would lower the price. Quite the opposite happened so I would say Sony priced it quite accurately.
What's funny is in SF6, EVERY male character looks like Zangief in Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo LOL.

That would be absolute commercial suicide for that franchise if they went in that direction with the main series! Are you mad?? As a spinoff? Sure. Hell release it on mobile. But if Bethesda came out and announced Fallout 5 as a turn-based isometric game, the blowback would be staggering!

Yeah I forgot about that one. I'll be honest though, that trailer did nothing for me when they showed it at the PS5 reveal event. I hope new footage proves otherwise.

Specifically for 3rd party games and VR2. I'd say when the time comes, Ragnarok will get it's own stand alone SOP. I'm hoping we learn more about Stray, Little Devil Inside, Forpsoken, FF16, etc.
That's what ignore buttons are for. Put the decision in the hands of the users if they don't want to listen to somebody or deem something as inappropriate. Not a benevolent forum overlord who gets to decide for themselves what is appropriate and inappropriate dialogue. Let forum communication be a true microcosm of free speech in the real world. My thoughts? I honestly believe that heavy-handed policing of online forum conversation over the years has numbed an entire generation to the idea of censorship and I'm afraid it's going to eventually spill over to every day speech where everyone is just okay with the idea of losing their freedom of speech in the interest of being un offensive. I don't support or condone violence against anybody. I am very much a live and let live person. I also do not appreciate being labeled a "hater" just for having an opposing viewpoint on a sociopolitical issue. The word hate is so overused that it's completely lost it's meaning.
