how about making CoD current-gen only by 2025?
@mandf
wow, so people can't voice their own opinions nowadays ....
There's always the one
RE: got soft-rebooted with REVII already
Batman: Well ... yeah the next Bats is least likely to be a continuation of Arkham ...
Battlefield: BF games seldom resemble their prequel counterparts ... most were mini-reboots sort of ...
Ghost Recon: YES! please, reboot and return to roots
Halo: yeah .... ok
personal additions:
F.E.A.R, Quake (a la Doom'16 style), Rainbow 6, DeadRising, .....
PS4/Xbox One versions will get dropped because of the engine upgrade:
Hunt: Showdown Drops PS4/XB1 in April 2024 as It Gets CRYENGINE Upgrade with DX12, FSR, HDR, and DirectStorage

Dusk came out in 2018, mate
or was that a sarcasm?
KOTOR
Gothic
Silent Hill 2
MGS3
Persona 3
Max Payne 3 is very underrated.
I've been planning to do a second run of the game for quite a while ...
The multiplayer part was also infamous for being surprisingly really good, but was overlooked by many
Would love a remake of that as well but by R* themselves using their own RAGE engine, to have a nice contrast against Remedy's Northlight engine project. :)
Nope.
Rather remake other past Capcom & non-mainline RE games ... IF they have to continue churning out Remakes.
I'd rather want a new 3rd person RE spin-off
Dino Crisis and Onimusha Reboot
New IPs after Pragmata ships
Currently my most anticipated Remake project

Burning Shores came out just few months ago ...
Well, you can use a simple snap-on controller (not-Backbone)
Then you get something like the Playstation portal or Steam Deck or N.Switch or Xbox Mobile Cloud setup.
Instead of getting a phone + a gaming handheld (phone price + handheld price), you get an all-in-one.
And also with the new iPhone's USB-C port, people have been connecting to their TV's as well. (Expect more support in this space)
So an all-in-one you can daily use, game on the go and ...
Not defending here ... but many games have low IQ enemies on purpose (especially open-ish games).
So sharing another example:
I recall it being discussed in a digital foundry's Crysis 1 coverage, where they say, the devs initially tested high IQ enemies in the game .... but it deterred players from trying out all the sandbox features the game (nanosuit) offered, like armored rush or grab enemies by their neck and throwing them. Instead, players would always take the same...
Outer Worlds II's gonna be pretty good I guess ...
Good news .... but would've preferred RDR1 Remake even more
ffs, Embracer is already looking to sell Gearbox ... Volition studio was shutdown
now, CD got affected and even affect Eidos aswell?
Better sell Gearbox to Sony
And CD & Eidos to MS
than shrink these studios to bare minimum
Having a hunch ... Glen Schofield might boomerang back to EA or Activision.
Or what if Sony lets them form a new studio under PS umbrella?
Keep calm
And
let your modders breathe
Well ... firstly, new Snowdrop engine is looking pretty good (Avatar, StarWars) ... so, Div3 will look good.
Secondly, lets hope they try something new with the 3rd one. 🤞
Thirdly, Ubisoft should keep division IP/formula unique within their portfolio and not make other IPs similar to Division. Like what they did with Ghost Recon Breakpoint by making it a Division set in an island-jungle. :-/
Not keeping much hope but yea lets wait n see .... and ig...
What this game needs is actually a Cyberpunk-esque 2.0 overall with a DLC sized update
