1) motorstorm, I have not had this much fun in an ARCADE racer in a long time. (Been playing hardcore racing games since need for speed 2, I still remember buying a 3dfx card just for this game)
2) Resistance fall of man (generic shooter, dont believe in the hype.... just like halo hype dont believe in that either

halo multiplayer just feels generic and nothing has changed.
While warhawk is a third person shooter and it tries something different on a console. IT feels like a arcade version of battlefield.
The animation and graphics suck onwarhawk, but the game is rather smooth, and I have yet to go on a server and complain about lag.
But the main reason why I like it more is because it resembles battlefield meaning THERE IS SO MUCH MORE TO DO to contribute ...

I would say it is c&c renegade.
But realisticly, its not as hyped.
I can smell it now xbox bias sites like ign and gamespot giving it a realistic score.
If halo's multiplayer helped push the game to scores of 10/10 then unreal should be 12/10
All these review sites are going toe give a lower score to ut3 when it comes out. It is simply a better engineered multiplayer game. And its the closes thing to real fps'ser because it allows you to use the mouse and kb

sorry but these gamers dont complain as much about price of their hardware.
Call of duty one, but then call of duty 2 came out on the xbox, pretty impressive. Then I played it on PC even more impressive.
I then played cod 3 on PS3 ( pretty dam decent, but just refined) I hope COD ups it up a notch in modern warfare.
IMO this series is much better than halo series and resistance
I never liked the pgr series, I played it for a few hours, though I did get good at it something did not feel right. Im guessing it was trying to be a racing game without focusing on realism NOR arcade ( it was in between).
I actually enjoy the need for speed series more because its focused on pure arcade style. Meaning If i get bored of gt i can jump onto an arcade racer.
I guess the PG seires will be welcome, but I have second thoughts before picking up over ...
Ive seen MANY pc games being published by different publishers
All sony has to do is licence it and activision will publish it.
Who do you think activision is They are more of a publisher than a creator of games.
I've been playing pc games for the longest time (both joypad and mouse and kb) do you really need shock to enjoy the game.
The only game type that really benifts from shock is racing games.
If they continue to create RElATIONS with electronic companies and retailers they are going to for surely win.
After a while the price of a player argument becomes moot.
Remember what happened to betamax they had to reduce the price of their players. In the end they lost because sony lacked electronic company support and retail shelf space.

lol last ive read it takes about 8 games purchased from the consumer before ps3 can make profit. So 8 games is not that much. I dont think it will be that difficult for ppl to buy 8 games over the course of 5 years.
And last I looked at my blu-ray collection ive seen ALOT Sony picture movies. Since ps3 is the primary blu-ray player right nowl, it seems like sony has already made alot of money.

I would never rate a racing game 10/10 even the famous gt series 9 max.
Im starting to FEEL real skeptical about this scores, since its come so close to holiday season.
But then again fanboys can be quie ignorant to believe a game that deserves a 10/10.
IMO overhyped is based on ppl's opinions, and I believe these are the most overhyped games. In no particular order.

Meaning their divisions work more closely with each other.
If you notice ps3 helps promote sales of their tvs, which alos help promot sales for their movies
Im quite sure when it comes to internal company politics it is easier to transfer and distrubute funds within the divisoions of the company
hence showing to the shareholders that they are focused to improving the company as a whole.
