sorry Unreal did not cut it for me... quake 3 was the prime in deathmatch...
Its funny how ppl today say they did not like quake 3 because it was too quick and you die fast... while look at games like COD you die even faster..... (easier killz and more random)
Just look at gears of war on PC its better in resolution and texture resolution than kz. Im not blind I bought all consoles but I prefer my pc and ps3 over the others.
It is a huge leap just look at black ops.... console players really think that game on CONSOLE is true 1080 p because it says so on the back of the box.
I see your point of view, but alot of PC games nowadays are multiplatform and they still look much beter than the console counter part. Even with the exclusive games like KZ... ahem the graphics are not that good.... (there I said it) its quite muddy the textures and resolution
But I do love the animation and the feel of the game (feels like gears of war weight but in FPS perspective)
I find it kindov contradicting because the fanbase of consoles gloat so mu...

I do admit KZ does have some cool effects and is STUNNING for a console... but ahem sorry the PC is king.
remember console fanboys xbox and ps3 have the same videocards used 4-5 years ago on a PC
If consoles are having trouble even rendering above 720p native then there is OBVIOUSLY a limitation in the hardware.

I agree quite a few of the cars are quite ugly but there is enough that look very good..... sorry there is STILL more good looking cars vs the collection found in Forza.
I love how xbox fanboys love to bash GT5 just because it is sony and they praise the Forza.... yet guess what they dont even own Forza..
I own both Forza and GT5..... Forza is decent but its more arcadey and looks arcadey... not saying that is a bad thing, but my preference goes to the one that feels more like a SIM ahem GT 5.
I could care less if they milk the franchise name... as long as they make decent games.

This is just a rant.... but I was about to download my first demo on the xbox .... and the first thing that came to mind was WTF you need gold xbox live to download the demo..... GEEZ
than when Final Fantasy went multi platform.... Although I dont like Halo its gonna hurt when another studio does Halo since it does not have the same direction as the original team... Look what happened to wolfenstein and quake 4 .
Sorry to say this xbox fans... Bungie is what made the xbox the way it is today.... Lets hope Epic can keep it afloat properly with their Gears of war.

was a generic fps shooter, blown out of proportion by the xbox community.... now gears of war it was different third person shooter with a nice cover system .
They are using similar tactics as they did with the ps1 and ps2.... slow market penetration and long term goals.
If it works out they they are playing the game right...

Had Halo had crysis graphics (ps3 version) im sure they will still be praising it... then again crysis is much better graphics than halo ....
Remember the days where these sites used to alter the tv settings and video settings just to make the ps3 look worse.
