How the hell do you beat barroh?! And where can u find him sleeping? Anyway, great week or so for nintendo gamers with Lego city, monster hunter, need for speed, luigis mansion and shin mega tensei devil survivor overclocked.

And in other news......a NATO statement today reads, "Aussie-gamer.com sparks outrage with stupid headline whoring statement. We now may fire on Australia....."

Can't you read kid? I said that in my opinion the snes was the greatest ever console. I can't control other people's beliefs and so was only giving a constructive OPINION on why many gamers may have chosen the wii. Just like your ranting is not going to change others opinions. Peace x

Ask kinect and Sony move. **rolls eyes...** the control scheme was another innovation in gaming, like nintendo's dual analogies sticks and rumble pack, you know? Whether you like nintendo or not, they are known for innovation which sticks more often than not. Skyward sword and wii motion plus was one of the most immersive games I've ever played, but it's all subjective opinions, isn't it? Clearly your cage has been rattled. Chill out, and speak to your counselor, Kid.

Say what you want about the wii (and yes it was as powerful as an empty shoebox) but it changed the way we play or at least conceive of playing games forever. I myself loved the snes, which was probably overall the best ever console, possibly closely followed by the beast that was ps2. But I will ALWAYS have a soft spot for the so-called "doomed" consoles, such as the n64 (first time booting up mario 64 and ocarina) and the Sega dreamcast.

Yeah even though the console plays wii games and can use the peripherals, I really think nintendo made a mistake in keeping the wii moniker. Yes, Sony keep adding a number to the name playstation and Microsoft, but the wii really was a radical departure and had its own niche in this console generation, while the wii u is going in another direction now with more processing power and the gamepad with assymetric gameplay.

Here's the paradox. It's not as good, fresh, inspired as bioshock 1 (in my opinion.) steampunk Rapture is the ultimate gaming world and home to one of the greatest characters in videogaming: sander Cohen. However, if bioshock 1 was a let down weapon wise and you found the actual narrative a little slow, then these are the areas where infinite delivers. Combat, pacing are much better here, while you still have your philosophical storyline and a few neat twists. However, be warned, the ...

Awwwwwww....an ickle kiddy nintendo gamers wanting battlefield 4 annoys the macho hardcore battlefield community. What an idiot.

They mean without using Adams weaponry or just mindlessly fragging a boss. I mean, the bosses have to die in some way, right? Why be so anal about it?

Ummmmm.....that dice or a 3rd party took the time to build a Wii U version from the ground up?

It's difficult enough to name the best game in a generation for ONE console, let alone to even begin a coherent argument or sweeping statement that one game rules all. Different gamers like different genres. Hell, even if the original bioshock had have been on wii, nintendo gamers still most likely would have preferred mario or metroid. I mean, if bioshock was only judged on its fps merits then it wasn't a great one, but coupled with the plasmids, characters, beautiful game world and ...

I know how you should feel. That with the above statement the reviewer just ruined an objective, unbiased balanced review and therefore for me at least, nullified his scoring, whether it had of been a 1 or 5. It's unfortunate that zelda is trapped on nintendo consoles. And metroid, etc!!?? Here's my absurd comment for the day: "Breasts are amazing and engage my interest, keeping me occupied for hours. It's just unfortunate that they're trapped on the female form..." ...

Apart from soul sacrifice, you've listed glorified tech demos. Just my opinion. Animal crossing, shin mega tensei, etrian odyssey 4, luigis mansion 2, fantasy life, dragon Quest, castlevania mirror of fate, monster hunter 3 ultimate, fire emblem awakening (still to come here to europe).... I could go on and on. Hope the vita survives but with the threat this year more than ever of tablets and smartphones, there's more than likely gonna be a company's portable system fold. And it w...

Yeah.....that's gonna happen. More likely is when the slew of great upcoming games for the 3ds hit through 2013, the vita will finally die and we nintendo gamers may pick one up from our local cash converters/charity shops for £50.

The games coming out this year for the 3ds are going to be the final nail in the coffin for the vita I'm afraid. And I own both. #justsayin

Just let it go. Mass Effect 2 will be remembered in a decades time as a true classic, and if that is the high point of bioware output, then it's a hell of a lot more than most companies shovelware. Yes, in my opinion Mass Effect 3 was inching above 2 in terms of drama, pathos and an even greater sense of desperation against insurmountable odds, but the last 10mins or so absolutely stopped a deserved ending to a great trilogy.

I'm in UK and the extra speed we've now got in this version, unlike the old Pal cart is eye-blistering. I honestly don't remember the game being so fast, or that we European gamers were missing out that much, but man this game flies and add the fact that it's great (semi)portability on the gamepad and it's 30p? First ESSENTIAL virtual console purchase!

I'm exactly the same with Xenoblade Chronicles. 168hrs in and counting. We spend most days together. I think of her obsessively at work. We've even spent many nights together in my bedroom. It's that hot and heavy now that I'm thinking of serious commitment and just last month I got the great news that Xenoblade is expecting a sequel, which we are gonna call X2 at the moment, though I'm quite liking the name Shulk if it turns out to be of the male persuasion. Hahaha.
