poor review. im playing through The Wonderful 101 while my copy of GTA5 sits unopened in a drawer. I think that says it all, rather than listing off what makes it so hectic, amazing, frustrating, fist-pumpingly bat-shit crazy....

im in the uk and have just completed the game on 'normal'. It really is a masterpiece if you put the time and effort into it. Even if it doesnt sell well, i think its destined to become a cult classic. We should applaud innovation and a game that refuses to hold your hand throughout. I'd give the game 8.75/9 out of 10 for what its worth. For me, it kicks Pikmin 3's ass. One thing i would say though, is that i draw unites with the right stick, not drawn on the pad, and therefor...
utter drivel 'review.' Nobody i know has the extra money just to 'buy a game out of principle'. I bought the game because i played the shit out of the demo, and now im enjoying a game which, although probably wont sell great, is absolutely destined for cult status.

i know theres alot of mario haters out there, and he's 'kiddie' and nintendo milks the shit out of him, but im sorry. Mario Galaxy 2 pisses all over this game. Rayman is great and Ubi should be proud, but they still have some way to go to better nintendo at their best.

well, we're talking about the wii U version here specifically, and as i said, i loved conviction. And apart from load times, im experiencing no glitches. Its all about preferences and opinions...
they only released 30,000 copies in japan apparantly. Personally i think the games amazing and will gain cult status pretty quickly. Unfortunately this probably means it wont sell great, but will continue to be talked about with fondness for years.
so.....um....judging by this review, if you have a copy of splintercell that DOESNT have audio problems, then the game is about a 9/10?? With the loading times being the only main issue. If thats the case then i agree. Add to this that the wii u version has slightly better graphics, mii-verse connectivity, off-tv play and a better map/weapon configuration on the gamepad, and overall this is a fu*king great game (especially if you enjoyed conviction.)

No snes?? i loved the gamecube and n64 to bits, but come on!! The snes should be top three at LEAST, for its amazing library of games, introducing alot of amazing jrpgs to western gamers, the innovation of mode 7/FX chip, and last but not least, for having one of the greatest controllers ever made! 16bit gaming heaven missing from top ten. What are Edge smoking, cos i want some....
maybe more difficult NOW with hero mode, but dude, this was one of the easier zeldas and in fact that was one of the main criticisms of it at the time (along with the triforce shard quest, amount/length of sailing and of corse the cell-shading.) I love the game and will pick this up again, but unless you were like an 8yr old when you first played it, it was pretty damn easy and the on-screen counter attack prompts helped with that.
well, no actually. The whole point of the Wii U is to provide a UNIQUE gaming experience (or assymetric gameplay) compared to the other consoles. Hence, id take off-tv play, better graphics, miiverse connectivity and a seperate menu/map layout on the gamepad over the fact that wii u load times are a couple secs slower.
i fu*king LOVE this gem of a game!! it is seriously bat-shit crazy and the demo doesnt even begin to do it justice. With this, Pikmin 3 and Splintercell Blacklist, my wallet doesnt know whats hit it. But to all my fellow Wii U owners who decided to keep their console through the dry times, i say congratulations. Your Wii U fun starts NOW!! 'WONDER-RAFF OUT!!'
next gen, next gen crap talk as usual. the ps4 aint gonna change the world sony fanboys. particularly its first year of games. Battlefield 4 at a disappointing 30fps???!! And graphically aint nothing special! Knack aint looking great either. People should chill out and love the console they own without constantly looking at what other consoles have. Or buy more than one console and enjoy the various exclusives. But man, most of you guys bitching is just SAD.
