well im of the opinion that earhbound 2, at nearly 20yrs of age and at £7 is a bastion of quirkyness and originality and much better than alot of the modern dreck out there. im absolutely loving it and can now see what all the fuss was about. as far as selling a system goes? well for me its quite simple. earthbound combined with Pikmin 3, wonderful 101 and splintercell blacklist before the end of august, and ive enough wii u games to occupy me here in uk.
you can tell it was made with love and its quirky originality is astounding and holds up against alot of todays lazy dreck....

not a bad list. i would add Project Zero 2 and Battalion Wars 2. However, if you own a wii (or a wii U), then please make sure you play the great Xenoblade Chronicles before you expire. I was not a fan at all of jrpgs, then i played Xenoblade,and " OH MY FU*KING GOD!" Believe the hype.
its all subjective opinion, but MAN is this guy's list lame. Fanboys will all have their own tastes of course, but speaking of more muti-plat characters, how about Commander Shepherd, Leon Kennedy, Sam Fisher and my personal favourite left-field character ever, Bioshock's Sander Cohen??
The last of Us will have you on the edge of your seat, whereas Animal Crossing will last you much much longer (if your into life sims.)

the uk has got this and splintercell in augustl cant wait! gotta say though, that the last few great games on ps3 has been tiding me over and also the all-conquering 3ds. Man, i fu*king love that little machine! (im trying to juggle animal crossing, luigis mansion 2 and fire emblem at minute.)
sony will get the millions to buy ps4's and then gradually bring in drm shenanigans. consumers are being played from all sides. its only sony first party titles at the moment which has no drm connotations, but trust me, when they have their user base locked in, that will change. microsoft has went about it the wrong way and have suffered a pr disaster, but it doesnt change the truth of the sitation. the used games model is simply unviable in the future if gamers still want AAA games which...
i didnt say that metroid, starfox, etc werent in development. But even a short 20second showing of some footage would have not only confirmed it, but more importantly gave the loyal nintendo fans something concrete to look forward to. The new Halo is nowhere near in a playable state, yet microsoft knew they HAD to show something. For you to accuse me of being 'dumb' (mate) when you have misinterpreted my point, says it all (mate.)

i think Iwata needs to go and nintendo as a company needs to become a bit more agressive in this industry. I mean, if sony had alot of nintendo's first-party ips, do you really think that a mind blowing Metroid would have been a no-show? Or fan-favourites such as F-Zero and Starfox? Come on!! You play to your strengths and you play HARD. Iwata seems like a genuinely nice man, but good guys rarely win (especially when they're competing with the ruthless sharks of this industry.)
Miyamoto is a fucking genius. As good as Naughty Dog, Bungie, Dice, etc are, they are still not fit to tie this guys shoelaces. He has earned respect with over 20 yrs of CONSISTENT gaming innovation and brilliance. Im not even a nintendo fanboy, just an avid gamer who appreciates the history of our great hobby.
not a great showing and no one killer system seller title launch. i love dead rising, but im not paying £430 plus game price to play it.
