You miss my point. I too like shooters, particularly the Bioshock series, but my point is that the last generation of games were not all about bland grey/black, muted colours. And Nintendo (particularly something like Mario Galaxy), is proof of this.
Clearly you have never heard of Nintendo gaming, "CallofDutyFan". However, Sunset Overdrive does indeed look like its gonna be a blast. But remember, kids: great games are more than shooting guns.

Tie for first between Zelda Wii U and Uncharted 4 for me. For a more finished game due this year, i'd go Farcry 4. (p.s. i watched 30mins of in-game play of Xenoblade Chronicles X and it looks as though its gonna be AMAZING.)

I think that for me, as someone who is on the fence concerning PS4 and Xbox1, i would buy an xbox1 in the short term for games released this year, but long term and looking at both from mid-2015 onwards, i think sony has the edge. So im hoping Nintendo has a strong showing (being a wii U owner) and i will then pick up a ps4 Xmas/New Year.

If Nintendo give solid release dates for Bayonetta 2, "X", show a mind blowing Zelda AND have a surprise at the end of either Metroid or Starfox, they will 'win' e3, whatever that means.
Not a very objective fair review, beginning with " Do we really need another Mario Kart?" Online mode has evolved in mario kart 8, the physics of the karts are better balanced, the blue shell isnt there so often and theres a horn to combat it if you're lucky. The anti-grav new tracks and re-envisioned older ones are amazing and local multiplayer is best fun with your clothes on!! So its a 10, right? Well no, because battle mode is poor and i think that coins should have been lef...
