@morganfell
My statement is directly to what waterboy stated. Nothing more, nothing less.
Glad I wasn't the only one that noticed that. XD
@Ryudo
Actually a demo also helps to see if your rig can support it most of the time.
Thing is I would agree on the statement about introducing it to the console community, but you have to ask why centralize it onto 1, and not 2 for a demo?
"pc also isnt running ps3s exclusives at all cause it cant"
Wow that is a silly statement for the day.
You do realize a console is a PC centralized for gaming right?
They've just been throwing out non-existence excuses to cover themselves for the actual reasons.
It seems kinda interesting this happened after the article about Riot Games contacting the guy before.
More than likely though the knee-jerk reaction was from the Activision side.
To be honest I dunno why there's hype around this game. It's as if people never played a game called Freedom Fighters. :p
Shadowrun....That is all.
"Well at least MS gives us better features and security with paying to play service.. "
You do realize you're paying for service that's just the same on all versions right?......
I think you guys are reading into this a bit too much.
The backlash that companies will get from the main public will outweigh situations that come up on this.
We're in a capitalistic society, and the thing is, people can change and make a difference on a company.
Even then, that's getting to the point where there's a line they might cross if left alone. The problem being though is that there's places like Gamefly for example, where you can buy the game that you rented out. That can cause an issue if you get the wrong disc in that situation.
Thing is, I can actually blame both parties, because there's different ways to handle things without having the consumer suffer in the long run. It's like how EA has that whole ...
This is actually a bad idea. The fact that rental places will backlash at this along with actual people that buy games from places like Amazon, Ebay, etc that are used.
This statement isn't pro-piracy. This move will have way more consequences than they are showing to believe.
"So Sony USED to not care? Is that what your saying? What complete Bullshi** anyway."
It's not complete BS. You do realize the persistence of people complaining about their stuff got them to change up.
Look at the past commercials and advertisement, look at the studio support starting out, look at the initial price tag.
Also I find it funny it used to be exclusives, and multiplatform games didn't care for those "passio...
My god, everyday you some how amaze me with your lack of information.
Lying in court CAN net you trouble....big time.
It's called Perjury.
See what I don't get is this. If the game is going to come out on multiplat, just do it like how games like Star Ocean, and ME2 has for the PS3.
Put it out at a later time, DON'T mash the development process when you have to add translation ON TOP of developing a new platform.
I don't mind it when games are multiplat. I do mind it when the quality of games have to suffer when devs split their resources 2/3/4 teams to work on separate builds becau...
badz149....he said RUN better...as in loading performance.
And yes you CAN run Mass Effect WITHOUT a disc. It's called Digital Distribution.
You CAN'T do that normally if you bought the physical copy.
Also not every PS3 game can be downloaded via PSN, so I dunno why people are arguing all over this to begin with.
I've actually met Cliff in Cary here at a Starbucks. Let's just say he's not a likable person to be around.
It's ironic you say that deadpoole considering you're beating around the ******* bush.
raiden used a thing called logic here, which you haven't shown in a reply.
That button is broken from over-use. :p
So hire the guy that tried to blackmail them?....
Yea that makes total sense...
See THIS is a record, not some obscure way to do things. :)
