You realize you'd be playing Farm Maker #22 after a while if the industry turned into what Apple is on their focus of games.
They use it as just a platform for Sales. They don't give a rat's *** about the quality of them. As long as it nets money through the Apple Store, they'll allow it.
"I also find it strange that no article dares to question what would happen to all your games once Steam closes down, what they'd decrypt everything for you? That's one IP nightmare. "
2 things here
1) They state in the TOS that they'll give the tools to make it so you can play without steam
2)People already made files that make it so you don't need Steam to play them.
There I answered that for you. ...
"The PC has been at the forefront of most technology shifts in the market. I was very aware of this at Nvidia. Most breakthroughs in console technology have their roots in the PC market. Most leaps in games development come to the PC first and then work their way into the SDK's of the console manufacturers. But for the longest time we've been told by retail, in the UK and US especially, that PC games is a dying market. "
It's sad that has to be brought t...
No I think he meant he's done WITH realistic shooters.
How is "I'm taking the fun out of development" not evil?
But then they'd complain about why you're forced to go through with 1 to play 2.
"You got denied a deal --it happens. Deal with it. It was an isolated incident and hardly represents the store franchise as a whole. "
It can be called false advertising on the manager's part, and yes it's considered illegal. The manager can honestly get in trouble for that.
How the hell is something like THIS complaining of entitlement? (And I WORKED in retail for a few years)
I'm amazed how much zoning is going on here in the comments.
@stu888
And yet people still go for that over actual logical descriptions, and instead jump the bandwagon of rallying behind people on this site.
The irony of this all, is that the console has parts of a PC.
"Console gamers have really no idea' on what a modern PC is capable of"
The funny part is this statement is mostly true. That rumor of a decent gaming PC costing thousands of dollars is STILL roaming around.
I find it pretty ironic they're going with the "unfair competition" statement.
@Tommykrem
So they should ill-inform people?
If some gamers feel to be angry at them for a truthful statement, then they might as well break away from technology.
I do agree they shouldn't make them angry, but c'mon, if some people believe that, then they're truly spoiled.
Edit: Had to clarify who i was talking about.
@evrfighter1
Fair enough. I will give it that it did allow people to try a small piece out.
@PR0X1
You DO realize that bluray was a multi-joint effort right?.....
@BrianG
Thing is, MANY people are upgrading their specs JUST for this game.
@evrfighter1
Tell that to Minecraft. I supported it in Alpha, and look at it now, and it costed MORE than $8.
"You can not break 2048 bit encryption, its not possible. "
Wtf happened to running program calculations? >_>
It's possible, it's just a damn long, long time.
Don't confuse possibility, with likelihood.
Tales of Xillia is coming out on the PS3 in Japan. Tales of Vesperia was out on both, but only 1 here in the US.
You do the math.
It's more of a jerk move by cutting it down than adding on. You know people would have less of an issue if ToV was out on 1 system in Japan, then 2 here, then 2 there, where as going 2->1 looks much more "jerkish".
The problem isn't so much that a game is exclusive on a system, but they make it...
I just said you can make calls with the thing.. >_>
It's the OP that was ill-informed, but also correct at the same time. He only knew 1/2 the information.
What I was getting at, was the fact that only 2 people responded to correct, yet 12 took the time to just say "I disagree" and move on, not saying WHY.
DarkCharizard_, ps92117 and SephirothX21 take that childish crap elsewhere.
