"Our dev time is dictated by us"
Then why the hell are they teaching people different dev cycles specifically for those under publishers?
@nepdyse
Heard of ports and NAT? Connection speed isn't the only thing that determines one having a good connection or not.
Even if one had 1TB speed, doesn't mean jack if the floodgates only allow 20b of it to go through.
@maniacmayhem
See the funny thing is that no one looked at the literal term and think i was harping on Perfect Dark and/or Goldeneye.
All i went on is that you said if they released Golden Eye now people would be throwing up on the forums, in which they're not.
In fact they're enjoying the Wii version of the game.
My point being is that people are too manipulative on how words are said around here.
"Your kidding right, if they released Golden Eye now people would be throwing up on the forums."
But they have...it was called Perfect Dark on XBLA. =P
"lol im gonna be honest and say that as old and as boring as cod may be it still has the best fps campaigns in my opinion"
You're confusing all other CoDs with CoD4. =B
"Look, like it or not Johnny, Activision has you by the family jewels."
No Inside_out...they have YOU by the family jewels. And they're just gonna keep on going until you give.
And I'm sad to see a company charge for features which shouldn't be charged for and the game rehashed over again here in the West. So it evens itself out.
And yes i'm talking about CoD.
One shouldn't be worried consider by releasing mod tools, people can alter the hell out of the game, and not worry about any heavy drawbacks.
The best part of reading Raven_Nomad comments is that you'll always have a facepalm one way or another.
That special ability is called willpower. :p
"That's what you get for *trolling* nowadays."
Fixed it for you.
They just stated earlier they had to compress the game on 1 disc on 360's version.
Except that those "roadblocks" would change the way how Live works.
Edit: Also I'm actually laughing at the comments that are going "generic this and generic that", when the idea behind 2 different games and 2 different communities working along side each other, which you don't see often, if at all, is now considered "generic".
Thing is they said they counted only PC games.
"Its just that you dont get to play Final Fantasy, "
You missed out on FF7 and 8 being on PC then. :p
lazer: When you have a pre-set hardware...does it make sense that it would be better than the new tech out today?
That's like saying if we were in the Pentium 2 era, and saying that it would perform better than a P4.
When was non-upgrading hardware better than hardware that you can upgrade? There's only but so much of a limit that it can go to.
I like how most comments here don't mention liking the idea of 2 separate communities in 2 separate games working together.
Instead it's about which platform it would have been best on.
"Gamestop (3521 games)
Gamersgate (2900 games)
Direct2Drive/IGN PC Store (2075 games)
Steam (1250 games)
Good Old Games (285 games)
Just so you know, we tried to only count full PC and Mac games, not DLC and other downloadable content."
They really should re-do these numbers.
For that matter, what source did they use, because considering I work at GS, and having a discussion with the DM recently, I kn...
See it's stuff like this that they should have shown during their conference.
What was up with all the companies not showing the good stuff, aside from EA and BF3?
@DarkCharizard_
Show me a single line in that article that said Natasha Maksimovic was victim of ID Theft or anyone else for that matter with physical proof?
All you showed was class-action lawsuits, which you see nearly DAILY ON TELEVISION FROM LAW FIRMS.
