no everyone is wrong Kratos twin brother is Tom Cruise who makes a living packing fudge.
Whatever game Bungie is working might not even be for the PS3 making Sony's comment sounds like standard PR bulls*it that comes from all three console makers.
From what I've heard it's being developed for next console cycle and no information has been given out on what systems it's coming out for. So for all we know it might be coming out for the PC/iPad/Wii2.
wow my ignore list is growing quite large today, so many new accounts, so little time
@Hill_billy : It depends on the publishing agreement. Some agreements give the publisher the right to expect a title/game to be released at a certain time. While in other agreements its up to the developer to determine when the title is released.
I was more shocked/upset when I found out the Bioware was bought by EA. Who destroyed one of the best development studios of all time "Origin".
It all depends on the relationship between the publisher (Microsoft) and developer (Bungie).
If the relationship isn't solid. There is a good chance when purchasing the studio, that all main talent will leave and the publisher is pretty much left with just a name and a few IPs.
I doubt Bungie is looking to be purchased by anyone. After separating from Microsoft a few years back they probably value their independence.
Shame I'd rather have Bungie either self-publish their own games or at least have a publishing agreement with a respectable company.
editted didn't know that Bungie would still own any IP published by Activision.
Wow I guess I can start getting excited about Alpha Protocol with out worrying about it getting delayed again.
no, but then I didn't care how much each system sells as long as both consoles sold over 20m units.
no matter how bad the game is, pirating is still wrong... Ok now thats out of the way, who is actually looking forward to Iron Man 2 video game?
I rented the first one and it was terrible. I don't expect the sequel to be any better, especially after Sega closed down the studio responsible for Iron Man 2 a few weeks back.
eh I'm going to pass on ModNation intill I can buy it for around $30.
I'm just not a big enough racing game fan, even if I can create new tracks. Though I do admit I did have fun designing next to impossible tracks in Test Drive on my 486.
Doesn't surprise me, Remedy has always been a great developer.
I really have no respect for Interplay. They were great about 10 years ago, when they were actually publishing games. Today they are empty shell of what they once were.
I for one am looking forward to seeing what Obsidian does with the Fallout franchise this winter.
Not to me, I didn't effect my enjoyment of the original Xbox last gen and it's not going to effect me now.
Though I do understand the business side of video games and I'm glad that all 3 console are selling as it's good for the industry.
Then why did you comment in a Halo Reach article?
Nope the site was a great way to keep up-to-date with video game news & reviews. Though lately it seems that filler has replaced actual news. Opinion and interviews taken out of context are now the most popular stories.
The comments section is now completely irreverent with most people commenting not even bothering to read the story and lets not forget fanboys on both sides creating multiple accounts and to spam their own views and post spoilers for exclusive games.
Sega would have probably taken Sony's place and we would all be playing 'Dreamcast 2' or 'Saturn 3'.
The only game that got me close to tears was the ending for "Dreamfall - The Longest Journey".
Everything on the list didn't even get me close.
Poor Development/Port = Poor Sales
Every 10th article submitted to n4g is about how it's the end of MS or X360. Which of course is followed by a PS3 is doomed article, then when the moon is in the right position we get an article about how PC gaming is dying.
If I believed in what people say on n4g I would have sold all my consoles and PC years ago.
