With Bizarre Creations being the developer you would think that driving would play a bigger part in the game.
I was hoping for more espionage (more than 10-20%), as most James Bond games focus on shooting and it would be a nice play a more stealthy James Bond.
Wow do you call that an article, it read more like a immature rant. I'm not even sure why they brought up Forza. The writer could have made his point about GT5 fans appreciating the developer without taking a swipe at another game.
the amount of ram a game requires does not confirm that the game is going to be huge
meh... not really all that funny, maybe to a few fanboys who think they are fighting for the honor of their chosen system.
I usually stick with beverages and food that doesn't get my hands sticky or the controller smelling like it came out of a Doritos bag (ie mini carrots).
Not a bad list, while I didn't like the order. All the games featured in the list are great FPS.
Definitely will be picking up this title sometime over the next few weeks.
Alan Wake really didn't scare me, then most games don't. Though I did love the atmosphere in the game, and found playing with the lights out enhanced the experience.
The plot holes in Heavy Rain didn't bother me, as most movies/games have them.
What I found laughable was the sex scene near the end, because when one of my loved ones is in danger and time is important. I feel like banging a women I just meet a few days ago and then passing out.
the problem being who gets to make that decision, there are so many different game organizations out there.
IMO GOTY never meant anything to me, as everyone has different tastes and not to be vain but my opinion is the only one that matters (to me).
My favorite games this year are: (not in order)
+ Mass Effect 2
+ Darksiders
+ Heavy Rain
+ Bioshock 2
+ God of War 3
+ Red Dead Redemption
+ Alan Wake
Still have to play Splinter Cell 3, Singularity and that Transformers game so my list will probably grow.
So far I would say 2010 has been a gaming blast.
I didn't find the too game challenging either. My only problem with the game was lack of storyline continuation as you played through the game. Which is probably why I've never finished the game.
In the game developers defensive it was a dungeon crawler and I've been spoiled over the years that now I can only play RPGs with a good storyline.
I had a so-called love/hate relationship with Two Worlds. The dialog and bugs were terrible, I remember having to enter codes in the x360 version just to make riding the horse passable.
The love part was the controls and gameplay wasn't bad and there really wasn't anything else to play that summer.
I never had a problem with the old controls, I don't see why every FPS has to have the same controls, epically the army/war ones.
Ten hour games still work for me, Alan Wake's storyline easily made up for the lack of multi-player.
Based on the preview it looks like FEAR 3 will be great horror FPS to play this October.
Though I wish they would give the series a break for a year or two and use a new engine as the series is starting to fill milked. Still it'd rather play FEAR 3 then another COD type FPS.
With game development picking the right time to release a game is like rolling a dice. This wasn't a first time a great game was overshadowed by being released around other great games and it won't be the last.
Thankfully developers are now starting to release their games for a longer period of time instead of releasing everything in the Fall.
Alan Wake just picked the wrong time to release the game, I'm sure sales would have been better if the ...
25 hours for main storyline is always nice, long as it's needed.
I'd rather a short main storyline with a great story then a long main storyline that has been padded to make the game longer. That's what side quests are for.
Though based on the article it looks like Two Worlds 2 will also have quite a few side quests.
Mass Effect 2 is my favorite game so far and will most likely be my GOTY
I liked the X-ray mode but I can understand the developer wanting to tone it down in the sequel. It was just too useful and I found myself using it before each group fight.
It also took away from the games great visuals in my opinion. For example when my g/f played the game, she just kept detective vision on for the majority of the game.
