another hour and another spam bot to add to my ignore list
nice graphics but watching the video made the game look very boring
Not really news... people have been transferring movies from one format to another for more then 10 years ago (ie VHS to DVD).
welcome to the internet... this isn't just an xbox live issue
I don't know about anyone else but I bought my x360 for games and no other reason.
During the last generation the xbox won me over with it's killer lineup of western titles and in the end for every hour I played on my PS2 I spent triple that on my xbox. I am predicting the same thing this generation.
After downloading the Fokelore demo I wasn't too impressed. Even with the new content I probably still pass on Folklore since I am an old school wRPG player (ie Ultima) and most jRPGs don't interest me.
Still it is nice to see a developer support their game with new content. Hopefully Bioware will follow suit and release a few add-on packs for Mass Effect.
With Silicon Knight's track record and what I've read "Too Human" is my most anticipated game of 2008 (just edging out Fallout 3)
Based on the screen-shots Eternal Sonata is looking it won't be another subpar port. With the extra characters it might be the preferred version of the game to get (if you haven't already played it on x360).
Personally I've played through Eternal Sonata once and not interested in playing through it again (even with the new characters).
Bioware didn't have much say if EA bought them or not. EA purchased the company that owned both Bioware and Pandemic.
It wouldn't surprise me if half the development team is planning on leaving and starting up their own company.
Nothing new really... just a bunch of close-minded idiots that appear not to have jobs and spend there days spreading crap in these forms.
meh... don't care about digital distribution at the moment and not in till they start getting more independent films. Stuff I can't find at my local blockbuster.
At $39.99 GT5: Prologue is just too pricey for me. I'm not a huge racing game fan so I can easily wait another 6 months to a year and buy the full game for $20.00 more.
This article is pointless at least wait in till the movie has actually been released in the theaters.
I disagree I find that alot of sony fans mistake variety with gaming preference. I agree that there has been alot of FPS released in the past few months but this is true for both the PS3 and x360.
For someone that has grown up playing video games when Nintendo had an monopoly on console gaming. I hope there isn't one overwhelming winner this console war. That way everyone is happy and games will be released to support everyones taste.
@mazirjones : FPS or shoote...
Both Mass Effect and Uncharted are in different genre so it's really not fair to compare them in most aspects (ie graphics, storyline)
But I feel it is fair to compare them when it comes to cinematic since through out my many years of playing video games genre really had no bearing on what games I found more cinematic then others.
well I've played both... and both are great games I just felt the story/dialog and scoop of Mass Effect to be more epic and cinematic.
Of course a lot of what I liked about Mass Effect is based on my own personal preferences (ie music, setting, artwork) and I can completely understand if some people enjoyed the cinematic's of Uncharted over Mass Effect.
I doubt the quality of games released in 2007 has anything to do with slowed growth in the US.
The US is also going through some slow down in their economy. With the lower US dollar and house market issues. Some people don't have extra money to through around for video games.
It's going to be hard for 2008 to match the quality of games released in 2007. Sony only fans will think otherwise but then 2007 was pretty slow year for them (1st half).
yes the double standard is interesting... I am surprised that no one has sued Apple over iTunes yet. To my knowledge songs downloaded from iTunes can only work in iPods or through the iTunes software.
nice but sort of pointless in till more games support the wider resolution
