In the Wii and Wii U generations I always felt like Nintendo could beat Playstation and Xbox at their own game (power + good online + third party support), now I'd like to see them have a shot at that with the NX.
My body is so ready.
As someone who owns a Wii U I'm a little disappointed that it didn't last longer, but I got some of the best games Nintendo has ever put out on it, and I don't feel like my money was wasted.
I expect big things from the NX!
Digital only, though.
That's not really what the video is about. The video basically goes through every innovation pioneered by each game company and had little to do with actually thanking them other than the figure of speech in the title.
By running Wii U games you mean running the menus of Wii U games, right?
Did it even open a menu? The farthest I've seen of Mk8 is the loading screen...
With the wait we've had since any new nintendo news, I guess they have to? There's no way they've been working on nothing :P
Damn. I guess I stand corrected since saying it wouldn't be finished soon. That was very quick.
I like Amiibo more but that's just me. I think it's the multiple game functionality.
It won't be finished before the NX is out. Emulating a console this new is gonna take some serious coding and/or a powerful computer. PS3 emulators still barely function to this day, only able to play a few 2D games for the system.
Huh, that's very un-nintendo-like.
People don't understand what casual means. Blood guts and guns is the stuff that will get a game out of the casual genre, although games with those features are routinely played by casual gamers.
This game man. This game. It's just so amazing. I need it in my veins.
Back then porn was showing your ankles.
Watch Dogs.
The lack of an epic legacy is why they've written this article about it being overlooked. :)
Eh, I can see why it's missing though. The game played completely differently to every other Super Mario game, because it wasn't a Super Mario game. It was just a sprite swap of Doki Doki Panic. The real Super Mario Bros. 2 was never released in the west because they thought it was too hard and not different enough to the original Super Mario Bros.
I wish they would add some more features from NSMBU to Mario Maker, as I loved NSMBU and it had some really inventive items and ideas that need to return.
Refurbished Wii U Deluxe consoles go for $200 on the Nintendo website.
Can imagine this bringing back many Nintendo gamers of the past who want to play classic Nintendo games at home and on the go without needing to buy multiple consoles and different games for each.
