If the full game is native 720p, I'm gonna hurt someone. It's 2D for Jeebus sake.
But the PS3 components and chipset clearly win out, due to their ability of staying cool under intense gaming pressure.

Both the 360 and PS3 can output tons of games at 1080p/120fps. Just not the games we except nowadays. The original Max Payne for example could easily run at 1080p/120fps, but new games are built specifically to render High Resolution Textures, HDR lighting and other visual candy at 720p/30fps or even in some cases, sub-HD resolutions like 600p.
Its all about "Wowing" the common person, and last time I checked, the common person notices visually effects more than resolu...
Not to mention he doesn't know what he's talking about. The PS3 upscales very nicely, you just have to mess with the settings.
The RSX upscales and outputs video. It is the GPU ya know...
I do not recommend unchecking 720p from the PS3 display settings. Games do not magically look better after you uncheck that box. It simply changes the output resolution to an even higher one set by the developers. Rockstar made GTA's output 720p for a reason, when you force games like that to output in 1080p, your putting more stress on the RSX, dropping framerates here and there. Adjust your HDTV's settings if you think it looks worse running 720p.
I remember installing Painkiller in my typing class. After copy and pasting someone else's save from the typing program, I had 40 minutes of Pain to Kill. Good times.
Why is everyone bashing COD3? I actually liked alot of things COD3 offered. Multiplayer was leaps and bounds better than COD2. Are people slamming it because they were too busy playing Gears or Vegas1, or is it because COD3 never saw the light of day on the PC?

Hurts me inside to think people still own an XBox 360. I remember a time when people bought consoles or PCs. Then bought games to play on said consoles or PCs. Microsoft was the first company to come in and charge extra for things we should be getting for free. Even when it comes to their own hardware faults inside the 360, we the consumer are expected to pay for it one way or another.
