Take your lips off from Infinity Ward's nut sack. COD4 was good but so far this game looks very promising and shouldn't be criticized until you actually play it. I for one loved Call of Duty 3 more than any other Call of Duty, until of course COD4 came out, but in many cases COD4 came up short compared to COD3.
My only beef so far is the HDR exposure, the screenshots are waaay too bright. I'm guessing it's because a lightning bolt must have happened mid-game?
I think companies charging for extra content is an even bigger rod forcing itself inside naive gamers this generation. Extra maps and game modes PC gamers have been treated to over the years for free have drifted to gaming consoles, this would be acceptable if the free price tag accompanied these extras too. Even worse extra skins and weapons that are locked away inside the disk are not obtained through accomplishments anymore, instead they are slapped with a fee...

After I started messing around in the Creature Creator, a plethora of possibilities hit me at once, the creator is pretty much limitless if someone has enough time on their hands.
My first creature, Blackzilla, struts his stuff with pride knowing his junk is the biggest in the Spore universe.

When in reality, this game will pretty much run the same on both consoles just like COD4, seeing as how they both still use the COD4 engine. DUH!

I own the 40'' Samsung 120hz "Red Touch of Color" LCD, and while its an excellent LCD, the thing is a pain in the ass to calibrate and get the most out of it. Took me 2 weeks to finally get accurate contrast and lighting. Samsung's presets are awful, Dark movies become impossible to see etc.
120hz is only worthwhile for high resolution movies and racing games like Gran Turismo 5. The added frame rates make everything more crisp because you see more HD frames per second....
Every First Person Shooter game requires you to move, shoot, kill or be killed. The difference between each game is HOW you move, shoot, and kill. Not everyone likes UT3, not everyone likes Halo. COD4 does not equal BF and vice versa. COD4 maps might not be as big as a battle field might be, requiring you to hoof it half way across the map, but it sure is action packed like war is represented.
I spoke to 12 different Battlefield PC fans about this game, after telling them all the new features of this Next Gen BF, like blowing up everything, etc. I drop the A-Bomb on them. "Oh yeah, its only available for PS3 and 360 now. Piss on us right?" Exactly.

its going to show a jungle setting, with lightning crackles and such, some sneaky Japanese folks slicing up soldiers, and some flame thrower action, maybe some soldiers driving jeeps or something etc.
All using an improved COD4 engine.
