When I downloaded an update for the game it went on the SD card. The saves I'm not sure about because when i switched from a 64GB card to a 256Gb card, the save files were still in tact.

I can imagine that BOTW would be stunning on Ps4 Pro, though looking at it on the switch, it's already a gorgeous game with very far draw distance, a pleasing art style (my opinion), great polygon count and texture detail, alot of Nvidia particle effects, and some pretty advanced physics for a handheld game, it has day and night cycles with dynamic weather, both include sub mechanics like rocks being slippery when wet, extreme cold exposure affecting footing and causing damage, and the bl...

I hope Ninty nails down this issue and gets it sorted. I've had no issues with my joycons, despite being in close proximity to active WIFI AC, loads of Bluetooth stuff throughout the house, etc. Just because I've not had a single issue doesn't mean other people haven't, and I hope this problem gets identified and fixed very quickly.

Yes absolutely! I thought I stated as much.... Regardless, if DX12 really kicks off with its agnostic approach, its going to change a lot of perceptions on multi GPU performance, shared vram pool, multi brand support, asynchronous computing, etc.

Yeah thats quite a lot of power there, reminds me of the R9 295x2 with 11,466 Teraflops from the factory, but for a single GPU card to be competing with a dual GPU card at such a high level means the Titan is living up to its name.

I currently have 18+ Teraflops on the gpu side, and I got it all for around $900 from AMD. It's safe to say that I'm going to wait it out for a couple of generations. An overclocked R9 295x2 + an overclocked R9 290 means I'm running every game 4096x2160 @ 60+fps. I'm number one on Firstrike Ultra for all trifire users, and I havent even really dug into the cpu overclock since the new motherboard. On my previous motherboard I had a stable 5ghz with HT on a 4790K.

Pretty cool the performance of the new midrange cards. I'm already at 12+ Teraflops with my R9 295x2 @ 1150/6500 though. Maybe I'll just hold off until Vega hits the shelves.

"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." - Benjamin Franklin

Man the shills are strong in this thread. It starts with something innocuous like watching for keywords, something few will care about, but the quiet slow erosion of freedom never stops there. I feel sorry for those that say that it doesn't bother them to have a governmental entity spy on them and breach their privacy becaus...

About 13 hours in so far, and no game breaking bugs yet. Only tweak I made to the INI was setting shadows to 4096. Performance could be better but I'm sure a driver update, crossfire profile, and INI tweaks to disable game works are on the wing. Running a 4790k at 5ghz, 16GB DDR3, multiple HDD/SSD, and an R9 295x2 and I still get performance drops.

Afterburner says that the CPU is utilized pretty evenly, but only one GPU is getting pegged and only at 50% of that one GPU&#...

Don't feel bad, I just started playing it on PC and its not such a smooth experience. It definitely needs a crossfire profile, and more than likely some driver refinements. I'm playing on a PC that maxes Shadow of Mordor at 4k and stills gets 96fps average, so Fallout 4 shouldn't be giving my hardware any grief.

Like R6ex said, wait for Pascal. As of right now the R9 295x2 is measurably more powerful than the Titan (unless you are running Shadow of Modor at 12k with ultra textures) and cheaper to boot, even more so when you add an aftermarket waterblock for liquid cooling.

I really hope that doesnt mean that this game is gameworks-centric. Seems like most of the games that involve Nvidia Gameworks either run like powdered dog poo on all hardware, or just run horribly on AMD.

I seriously do NOT understand this. I've had the "suspend/resume" feature since launch. I remember using it with second son. I'd press the home button, try to open another app and suspend the game. I had no idea that we weren't supposed to have this feature yet. Why did I? Forgive my ignorance, I just want to understand.

After playing this game again on the vita, it makes me wonder why bioshock or fallout aren't on the vita. It can absolutely handle these games. That plus Sony is working on code revamps and optimizations for all of it platforms now.

I have been waiting a long time for this game to go portable, and a single review did not change that. I picked it up yesterday and boy am I having a blast. These are my personal opinions from playing the game...

A.) The visuals are actually incredible for a portable device though some of the weapon effects and DoF are missing.
B.) Its the FULL Borderlands experience on a portable console, I mean c'mon how cool is that?
C.) Bullet travel time and hit detect...

Okami HD for PS3 had an internal resolution of 4k, don't see why PS4 couldn't have it as well. The consoles aren't being fully utilized yet as we aren't far enough along on the roadmap yet.

For an early build demonstration, probably put together in a hurry during development, that looks amazing. From a technical aspect it looks like the full experience is there, full weapon and enemy models, terrain geometry, enemy animation, and of course the loot system.

Two negatives that I noticed were a lack of enemy shadows even though the player weapon does seem to shade appropriately, and there was only one time when it froze during a save point while loading assets in t...

@Firebird360

The PS4 is more powerful than my old desktop replacement (gaming laptop) and it was very beefy for its time (mobile i7/ and hd6990m) and it played current games with high/ultra settings in 1080p no problem.

The PS4 will of course benefit more from focused software optimization, more efficient hardware optimization, and more mature SDKs. Calling the PS4 underpowered exposes the ugly truth about your understanding. I've debated the merits and f...

I agree. The comparisons to PC aren't entirely pointless though, as in a couple of years...we can look back and see how far forward consoles have come and benefited PC in the process. Its like the masses simply can't see the industry merging. SteamOS, Mantle API, Steamboxes....it should be obvious that consoles and PCs are coming together for the benefit of both.

I see disagrees with no written response, yet I see a great response below with insight and logic, so you have my agreement and a bubble. Also I love sapphire reference cards, some of my highest clocking GPUs were golden chips from Sapphire.
