5/5 for me.
I love the Legend of Heroes series and of the Sky Trilogy, Crossbell Duology, and Cold Steel 1&2; the Crossbell games were my favorite.
Kimochi Warui
Well their "mid-sized" games were full price. I would have jumped on Harvestella and Valkyrie Elysium but they were both $60 and I'm not about to drop that on any ol' game.
This site can be wack sometimes. Why 10 disagrees? What even is there to disagree with?
Yeah, they're supposed to send a prepaid shipping box. I have a day off so I'm going to try contacting them tomorrow. Officially two weeks from setting it up.
I've cleared cache but not the other two. I guess I'll have it rebuild tonight.
Frick, my controller still doesn't work after this. I've sent in a repair ticket but they still haven't sent my return box. It's been 12 days.
Shutup and retire old man
Final Fantasy also established that they change it up with every number. Some of the older ones are even turned based just menu based like FF7, they maintained real-time-ish (RTB) combat while remaining menu based.
Yakua games are 10x cheaper to make and take less time to make. They are not the same. A FF game takes 6+ years to make now, Yakuza releases bi-yearly sometime yearly. (including things like Judgement and Ishin which are technically spin offs in name only, they retain similar budgets and scope so I'd count them too.)
To reply to your reply to that other guys reply. SE doesn't want FF16 to be FF7, that's your own expectations being put on them. They expect it to be the next Final Fantasy game and they expect it to be successful. There will never be another FF7 but there will be another FF and they games will continue to change and if you only like the old style than those games exist but they wont be a main numbered FF title for the foreseeable future. Turn-based has become a niche and AAA can'...
Look I like turn based but it's a niche. These games are too expensive and take too long to make to be AAA and turn based. If you want turn based games they're only going to exist outside of the AAA.
P.S. Square Enix hasn't abandoned turned based games themselves even, but they aren't the main numbered FF games anymore.
Part of this ban request is the premise of Russian propaganda. Uh I can tell it's a fictional sci-fi world. I'm not going to be swayed to empathizing to a real world country that's slaughtering people in a pointless war.
Only valid part would be if it's somehow going into Russian Government funding but I've yet to see real evidence of that, it's just conjecture.
There only evidenced crime so far is not having Raytracing yet.

I'm not sure what it is, possible the distance between the digital eyes, but everything feels smaller in scale in VR compared to real life.
Example, in GT7, I know what it feels like to be in a car but in GT7 the car feels 10-20% smaller. People seem smaller in general too.
Nevermind Japan is one of the most blatantly discriminatory countries, where they find nothing odd about Japanese only establishments.
(Also, actually just read the article and his quote is a reference to the state of things 15 years ago. It was a time when Japan was kind of stumbling in the west with games. Honestly makes sense, but I guess he's saying the zeitgeist isn't like that nowadays.)

LoL I made the same connection in my comment too XD
Terms emerge to explain thoughts and meaning. There is a certain expectation when RPG or JRPG is said.
Personally I have had an issue with what RPG actually means in the first place.
So what's the solution? Change the term to not include J? Reverse the phrase to RPG of Japanese Origin like we do for other out of date terms?
can't resist what's not there.
erm yeah. They probably knew what they were going to before finishing Tlou p2 or very soon after. Pre Production isn't really held back by another game being in end of another game, little crossover in workforce.
