I hate giving money to Nintendo.
That said I don't have an issue paying for ZELDA. I love it more than my hate of the Business heads at Big N.
The only reason I don't want to buy it is it's locked on the ancient Switch.
Make and Switch 2 or whatever and I'll get it there.
I'm sure they'll re-release it and get so many people to buy it twice at $70. Or something along those lines.

I don't think the PS part you mention at the end has much to do with it. COD would still be multiplat, at least for a while. I also don't think $68 billion is an efficient way to build market share nor something you would spend just to sit on IP.
Even with the more powerful portables out there I don't think i'd go for anything that doesn't have the massive backing that the Steam Deck has.
For me the story starts and ends with that I don't like the driving. In a Grand Theft Auto game, as the name suggests, driving is an important part but it's just frustrating for me. It was also Rstars first time using their in-house engine and it looks gross. (keep mods out of it, we're talking about the game, not the things randoms put on Nexus.)
Well maybe it's a bit worse than I thought on console. That's the last time I use an IGN video for performance metrics.
The reviews aren't all based on the PC version tho and the consoles run fine (just fine, not ideal, not terrible) There's a good game behind the bad port.
Big oof if true.
I ain't no fanboy. I just wanted MS to actually use the IP that Activision hords. Couldn't care less about Call of Duty or what logo shows up at the end of COD commercials that I don't watch.
The problem just has to be management at this point. They have the money, there has a to be a reason they would let Halo slip, and Scalebound dissolve. Nearly every other release has had controversy around launch too.
Famous video game journalist site WEGOTTHISCOVERED.com give middling review to new Star Wars game.
Let's see how score bait turns out for this one! Let's get those RAGE CLICKS in buddies!
I only want this deal to happen because Activision is HORDING all these IP and M$ MIGHT be able to use them if they can figure out how to release some games.
I'm expecting some disagrees for that one, but they seriously have had a rough time at actually releasing stuff and when they do it's usually in controversy. Only exceptions this gen are Forza and Hi-Fi Rush.
Finally. I assume SONY played a hand in this. They are hyper focused on good Meta scores so I imagine they had some words for Metacritic.
Considering how many people buy digital by default now, I'd say physical is either rated just right or even underrated. There's just no certainty with digital. Just don't break your disk... I suppose that'd be a downside heheh.
Conversely, buying physical games can often suck right now. Modern big budget games always of patches, many patches. Unless a game of the year edition comes out there, many game disks are the buggy day 0 version.
High Response action game kind of similar to Bayonetta in that way. But like the previous Nier game, it toys with gameplay genre on occasion, I wont explain further. The whole game has the aim to make you FEEL things with satisfying combat and movement to back it up. Much of the story is rooted in philosophical questions including some hard to forget side quests.
Literally almost any of them could be argued. They are all new stories and different mechanics. They all teach you how to play at the start. yatta yatta.
Bump.
Fun game but I wanted to wait for the RT update before continuing. Sighhhh.....
I've only finished up to Ys IV Memories of Celceta so I got a while to go. I only started playing the Ys games cause I was waiting for Trails To Azure to come out but now I've got to catch up and finish Cold Steel 3 and beyond. I don't know when I'll jump back to Ys. Hopefully soon but I didn't like Ys IV much. Ys origins and I+II were marvelous to me though.
I was just bringing this game up to a friend recently. He used to play them so much.
