it's wild how often there's a launch game that just remains at the top of graphics quality. On PS4 it's Killzone Shadowfall, and on Xbox One it was Rise Son of Rome, and PS3 had Riiiiiidge Racer ;p
At the very least Youtube videos are going to make for very poor comparisons with just how much detail is lost in compression.
No, PS4 settings are definitely cut down.
They must have not picked very optimal settings in comparison, same thing happened with Elden Ring. So running at the lower settings of the PS4 it runs better on 5.
No they couldn't, it wouldn't be lore accurate and Games Workshop would have stopped them.
It also just wouldn't make any sense for a Space Marine game. It would be more apt to say "could have had you take cover behind a waist high wall." and poked fun at that because that was a specific design choice and something they promoted when releasing the first Space Marines game.
>afraid to try something new
>literally took years off to reinvent the franchise and only released 3 games in that style so far (AC games)
>Watchdogs 3 created a new player character system nobodies ever done before.
Because when people on the interenet say they want something new and they get it they are ungratful. "Something new" tends to mean, unrecognizably different which just abandons what people might have liked about the original thing. It...
Good games, whether you like it or not.
it's weird to me how much people talk about AC Mtx despite it being so out of the way and tame. There's hundred of games that do it worse. Like COD for example but they don't seem to catch shit.
The games need a glue or they are just pointless and random.
it doesn't stand. it was a PS3 game that had a port with a small visual bump. If you wanna make a point make it something else.
At this point it apparently doesn't matter how long it is between breaks people will still say it needs one. The last full game was 4 years ago dude. Just admit you don't like the series and stay out of the conversation.
Both could risk ones brain collapsing, but one could take that risk.
im still confused that there weren't 30th anniversary faceplates
@CACBUNGA I wasn't casting judgement. it was literally just a fun fact, one that strikes me as odd because I like the GC quite a lot and it's crazy to think that all those experiences somehow didn't really involve JRPGs when I'm such a fan of the genre. That last part WAS judgement, a positive one if fact.
Guys, forget about this game. Stellar Blade got a new titty physics update.
somewhat related, did you know Gamecube only had 11 JRPGs.
That's definitely part of it, otherwise it wouldn't be news (one would hope) but I really wish they gave more details.
As a point of reference Immortals of Aveum used a base rez of 720p with a 60fps target (rarely met) while using nanite and lumen on UE5.1.
That's cool.
Hopefully they can make some good strides on nanite optimization soon. Last I checked it wastes a lot of processing because of overdraw, making it wildly expensive.
S was made for a time where they saw how expensive the hobby was getting and supply lines were stressed.
Seeing as S is a good percentage of Series sales, it wasn't a bad call, it's also helped keep optimization a little more in line. However I still pose that the RAM should not have been smaller than the X.
wow, good momentum.
