You can't just make up what you want.
When you make a console you do 2 things. You design what's possible now, and you try to predict what you'll need in the future/what will be possible in the future.
And just like any other generation a 10 year cycle doesn' t mean that the next generation doesn't overlap, it doesn't mean after ...
maybe on the surface but they were trying some new stuff for the live service shooter model. a lot of people never really looked into the game and it never really got a chance to show what else it had. They must have had some future content drops already being worked on before it launched.
People didn't look far past the bad character designs and I spent to much time correcting people because so many articles were posting false information.

If you ask me, it's perfectly fine if the Deck can't run the top of the line AAA newest tech stuff. It's running most AAA games and any older games fantastically. No need to jump into making a new performance profile that splits the mobile Steam Deck family already. A studio isn't the name, it's the people. As long as they get the right people there and they aren't held back by creating the tracks they're riding on, then it should be an improvement.
