Sorry Wii fans, but the "they're just not used to the hardware" argument will not work. It worked for ps3 fans because the PS3's Cell processor was fresh off the factory, so no devs could possibly have any experience with it. Wii U's hardware is not based on new technology, so devs will be able to max it out pretty quickly and there won't be a learning curve. Any issues the Wii U has now will stay with it for the rest of its life cycle.
It's no secret how little Manhunt 2, Madworld, and No more heroes sold on the wii. Nintendo has never lied about how they want to appeal to the average family, not the hardcore gamer, which is why nintendo's games don't see any success sales-wise if they get the M rating. The base of nintendo, even though it's very large, is also the least diverse and most selective when it comes to the games they buy. That's going to be a problem with a lot of these old ports. If these games didn't convince any wii fans to buy a ps3 or 360 before the wii U came out, then it probably won't interest them that much now. Nintendo gamers simply have a distinctive taste in games compared to the rest of the gaming world and game like Mass Effect and Arkham City won't appeal to them that much. All nintendo gamers really want to see is the first party family titles, not gritty adult oriented games. ...

I would, but money won't allow it in the same way that it won't allow me to get a ferrari. I balance my fiances with the best things that I can get. As of now, there are better gaming products to get with my money than the wii u and there will soon be even better things from the competition.

I've never laughed so hard at a GTA trailer before! Detail was amazing as well. Action packed, great voice actors, dogs, tanks, crashing trains. This is the GTA i've dreamed of.
They will probably be humbled when GTA V beats that record too. We need a good game on the best sellers list for once.
GTA on a nintendo console is like airing Breaking Bad on PBS.
It needs to compete to be beat Melee more than Brawl. Brawls' controls were inferior to Melee's and Super Smash attacks took the skill out of the game.
Rockstar could have done this with IV, but they were bought off by MS, so they couldnt make a version that wouldn't make the 360 version look inferior. Rockstar wanted IV to have multiple discs and mandatory install for the 360 version, but MS wouldnt let it happen, which caused the size of IV to suffer.
Luckily, MS now wastes all thier money on COD DLC and advertisement, so it has given rockstar a lot more freedom to do what that want with GTA, which is how it should be....

I don't think anything is being held back. The game has 3 protagonists and a map that is bigger than SA, IV, and RDR combined. 360 will probably need a mandatory install and multiple discs, but that is the price of greatness. Next gen can wait till I play this game.
You are not the first to complain about "NSFW" articles going to to the top of the page and you won't be the last. The owners of this site really don't care about integrity when it comes to their content, they let all the flamebait and softcore porn come through because they know it gets hits, thus generating more ad revenue.
I'm glad Rockstar took the chance with this one. John's story and the way it all ended was one of the most memorable moments in gaming this generation for me. The game showed that you can do something different and still be a success and the industry needs a lot more of that.
