This is what is going to hold nintendo back. They are making the same mistakes that kept the 3rd party from developing on thier consoles. The modern 21st century console needs to be state of the art so that devs can make the games that they want to. Bethesda can't make groundbreaking HD open world games on grandpa's computer chips. Epic can't maximize unreal engine 3 on it either. It's time to listen to Epic and move forward, not backward.

You do have a point, but the fact is that if you can't hold your booze, maybe you shouldn't be drinking at all. I'm sure the guy did not know what he was doing and was ashamed when he sobered up, but he still willingly put himself in a state where he knew he might get himself in trouble if he did. Even so, home never kept it's promise of the most important features taht were supposed to be there from day 1. The ability to stream video and music in your personal space would make Home much more valuable as a daily tool and Content being uploaded to home when you put a disc in (shirts, houses etc) would integrate it into gaming. It's a shame they never pulled it off. Home is just a bunch of empty promises for me because of that.

What you're failing to understand is that you are simply using the wrong word to describe his death. There is a big difference between dying young and dying early. A child/teenager dies young, Michael Duncan died early. I'm right, you're wrong. If we were having a conversation about his age while he was still alive, no one would be referring to him as "young" at best, he is aged and at worst he is just plain old. Young is a term used for people ranging from ages 0-25.

Whatever Insomniac does from here on out is irrelevant to me. Resistance 1 was the best game they made, but they dropped the ball with the next two games. Only nintendo could tell thier fans such a blatent lie and get away with it. Mario is the original milked franchise. Companies like activision learned how to milk because of it.
