I really don't see how he can say that. I figured an ambitious developer like bethesda would want more technical umph to make they type of games that they want to make. The games they make now of of such a large scope that they are diffiucult to run on consoles as it is. They way I see it, the current gen is holding them back.

People like being anonymous because they can abuse that privlage in the ways that you see now. Anonymity is good for the internet, but not for video games. I am not saying to take away the anonymity on the internet, just in video game networks.
Regardless, the numbers for harassment and verbal abuse (mostly on Live, not as much on PSN) for any person is still very troubling and is the main reason that I keep away from online game altogether unless i'm playing with people I know personally. The game is mostly use to futility point out the strong point of the Dreamcast. Even over a decade later, it's amazing that some people can't accept how much of a failure that console was.

Rockstar already had chinatown wars flop on a nintendo console. Nintendo may be a large auidience, but it is also a very different auidience from the hardcore ps3/360 crowd. Games that have sold well on the ps3 tend to flop on wii consoles because the audience does not respond well to M rated games on the wii.
