First of all. From launch the PS3 did have backwards compatibility with PS2 games. People cried and whined about the price of the console so Sony had no choice but to do something about it. SECONDLY. They say the PS3 has been struggling. But yet its been outselling the 360 ever year worldwide since 2008. Sales is more than just the North american region.
Even though they owned up to it. They still shouldn't be rewarded for shoddy quality in the first place. How about put a little more time and effort and release higher quality hardware. I swear when I took my first generation 360 to a repair shop during the summer of 06, (I didn't have warranty because I bought it off of ebay), they told me that it looked like it was built by idiots.
So the best gaming platform is the platform that people barely buy games for (PC)? Its the platform that hasn't had a exclusive game of the year winner in roughly 10 years? The PC platform? Seriously? Please. If it wasn't for consoles, the gaming industry wouldn't even exist. It would be bankrupted.
You deserve 1000+ bubbles. lol Even if the PS3 isn't the best console ever made. There is no way in hell we should be rewarding a console with shoddy build quality by calling it the best console ever made.
Isn't much of a gap?? The PS3 has a faster processor and much larger disc storage capacity.Not to mention the PS3 actually has a few games coded in 1920x1080 where as the 360 has none. Now I'm not saying that every PS3 game can be 1080p. But I'm just pointing out a couple of the differences between the systems.

Should it really be rated any higher?? I almost think that score is too high.
Now why can't the PS3 version get that special treatment that the PC verisons get? PC multiplatform games are developed on that platform as if they are PC exclusives. The PS3 versions of games are developed to be identical to the 360 version.

Also the console version will probably sell better as well. Which is a big reason why they cost more than PC games. Developers and publishers know that games sell more on consoles vs. the PC platform.

In my opinion, no. Nothing beats a real perfectly calibrated steering wheel.
I can't believe how many people don't realize that this is sales numbers for one country. The PS3 has outsold the 360 worldwide every year since 2008. No matter how well the 360 does in the U.S. it still gets outsold worldwide.
These are sales figures for one country and one country only. Worldwide sales, the PS3 has outsold the 360 WORLDWIDE, every year since 2008.

How can an exclusive thats on one platform outsell a multiplatform game thats on probably 2 or 3 platforms??? Why would anyone even expect that to happen? And for the record I'm talking about popular games only.

Thats just the difference between a software company and a hardware company. But come next generation, this is not gonna be an issues as Sony is learning from their mistakes this generation.
