They can make it back just like they are currently doing. If it wasn't for that problem they had with PSN, this wouldn't even be an issue right now. You have to remember, earlier the PS3 was not profitable, but the Playstation brand has always been profitable.
Explain. The PSone was the most powerful when it came out. The only consoles that were more powerful came out after the PSone. Such as the Nintendo 64. Same thing with the PS2. The gamecube and the xbox came out after the PS2.
Onlive is a failure. That company is already looking for someone to leach onto. I don't care what kinda gaming platform you offer. If your platform has absolutely 0 zero exclusive games. It is not gonna survive.
You know what. No. I don't want no cheap affordable PS4 just to try to outsell the casuals. I want Sony to do what they've always done and give me the best available hardware for a console. I like new technology thats pushing things forward. If it comes with another 500 or 600 dollar price tag then so be it.
I think PC gaming is for people thats obsessed with 1080P resolutions and faster frame rates. There is nothing wrong with that. But I'm not. I'm more about the actual game titles which is why I'm a console gamer. The consoles produces more high quality exclusives than the PC platform does. So when ever I think about trying to try PC gaming. I'm come to the conclusion that there is no reason for me to. Because all the games I want to play is on the PS3 and 360. I don't care...
I 1 billion times disagree with COD even being anywhere near the list. Especially since its not even new to this generation. Did the writer proof read this before he submitted it? Or is he not even a real gamer?

When the PS3 came out in november 2006, it had a 9 million deficit behind the 360. Today that deficit is roughly 2.5 to 3 million (according to vgchartz). Thats a little bit more than just 100,000 more per year vs. the 360. The PS3 has been outselling the 360 worldwide every year starting with 2009. 2008 was a toss up.
You are acting like the PS3 will go away when the PS4 comes out. The PS2 had some great exclusives come out for it in 2007 after the PS3 had already released.

Nope I wasn't aware of that. I have no interest in that game. But this DLC thing this generation is way out of control. And if you must know, the thing I'm upset about is us gamers just continue to let them price gouge us like this.
